Such a beautiful cabin in an incredibly property by the lake. The home is spacious and so comfortable for our extended family to hang out, cook and play games. Lots of communal spaces to spend time together, but so many private areas for sleeping and for individual families. The home was incredibly clean and Mark was easy to communicate with. Thanks for the great stay!

I think I have the best Airbnb luck ever, but this tops it. I'd buy the place from him if he weren't such a splendid ambassador himself. Luke alone is worth the trip, but the house is perfect

We loved the house and its location. We enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit tremendously. Sunrise was beautiful as was the full moon rising. Our host Christine was pleasant and responsive and informed us the house was ready early and we could check in early! We will definitely return! Our pups loved running around the yard!

This worked out perfectly for our son to visit from Earlysville. Very relaxing fun, large studio with 3 sleeping areas. Huge bonus that our dogs were welcome. Enjoyed visiting local parks and the Barbeque exchange in Gordonsville. Beautiful landscaped property and special treats yo enjoy were left for us. We will definitely return.

A beautiful setting and a well appointed house, perfect for group gatherings. The lake at this end is very peaceful, lots of herons and geese, and the surrounding water and marshes are gorgeous to kayak through. Kitchen has everything you’d need for any range of possible meals. Beds very comfortable, bathrooms spotless and include soap/shampoo dispensers, and we loved having a range of seating areas. The hot tub is a really nice one! A few things that may be useful for future guests to pack or know: the dock and deck have no furniture if you want to pack beach chairs (we did). The water on this side is comparatively shallow but fine to put a pontoon or canoe in. We did wish for screen doors on the many large back doors to enjoy the breeze, but used the screened in porch for that. Don’t forget beach towels! The upstairs living room doesn’t have a TV, though the downstairs one is huge (this was fine for us but others may want to be aware when they pick bedrooms).

I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in that area!! Very comfortable space and the host was very accessible and accommodating!! 5 stars for sure!!!

My family enjoyed a truly magical stay for spring break. The house is gorgeous and so spacious! The kitchen is straight out of a magazine! We enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning overlooking the lake and dinner both inside and outside. Our kids had a blast on the kayaks and the floating mat. The water was so warm!! We swam everyday which was surprising for April. Then finishing the day off with the hot tub and fire pit made for a perfect day. We took a day trip to visit the university of Virginia and Charlottesville which was an easy 50 minute drive. I’d give the experience 10 stars if it allowed!
