Stable Cottage is a cosy cottage on the edge of the Forest of Dean. It provides all you need as a relaxing base to stay and explore the picturesque Forest and Wye Valley. Great area for walking, cycling and outdoor adventures for all, from level old railway lines to step Wye Valley hills you’ll find terrain to suit you. Good walking and cycling right from the door, and great places to visit within a short drive. Located near to a main road, it's easy to travel in to Forest or City of Gloucester

Horse Gin, Castlemain Mill, Forest of Dean

Situated in the middle of the Forest of Dean and the quiet village of Parkend, Gloucestershire, Horse Gin offers fully equipped self-catering accommodation all year round. Horse Gin is named after an old local coal shaft as the owners main house, Castlemain Mill, on the same site was previously the Parkend Deep Navigation Collieries office. With spacious gardens and dog friendly, it is an Ideal relaxing break as a base for walking, bird watching and mountain biking with direct forest access.

Pathwell Farm has 2 dog friendly self catering holiday lets - Ash (sleeps 4) and Oak (sleeps 2 +2 on a sofa bed). Perfect to rent out individually or together for larger groups. Each let has its own enclosed courtyard. There is a designated 2 acre exercise field. Parking for several cars. The Royal Forest of Dean has miles of very scenic footpaths and fantastic bike tracks. Close by are Chepstow, Monmouth, Coleford, Ross on Wye and the Wye Valley - an “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”.

Humbug barn is nestled in a tranquil valley in the Forest of Dean and offers modern luxury accommodation for up to 6 guests. Boasting beautiful forest views we are in easy reach of all that the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley have to offer, hiking, biking, kayaking, zip lining , castles and much more - however if all that sounds too exhausting take one of the many scenic walks from your front door or relax in the hot tub and unwind. Hidden away on the edge of the ancient Forest of Dean, in the beautiful Wye Valley, with a large secluded garden, accessed by a mile long, narrow, single track lane, hanging with ferns in summer. It's is a fabulous place for walkers and town escapees. Once a woodman’s cottage, with a cosy, spacious interior, fully equipped kitchen, log burner, very comfortable beds, all you need for a relaxing break. Not suitable for young children 1-12, the large garden has a pond and steep terracing.
