New-built Chalet is excellent base for all Northwestern WY, Adventures. Set within the Absaroka Mts. (the Northern end of the Rocky Mts.) Only 20 mins.-Cody & 20 mins. East gate-Yellowstone. Only 1 mile to Jim Mountain trail head for access to the Shoshone N.F. & a short walk to the community's Privet Shoshone River access, Shore & fishing. We are so happy to share our magnificent location with its mountain views, activities & wildlife (Chipmunks Fox's,Coyotes, Mule Deer,Moose,Grizzly Bear).

Cody Trout Ranch Camp Trout Tipi

You can rent and stay in one of our fully furnished tipis near our fishing pond. The tipis have charcoal only grills, picnic tables, and there is a community fire pit nearby. There are clean laundry, bathroom, and shower facilities near the office, just up a small hill from the tipis. There is electricity available for guests with medical needs. NOTE: These are canvas tipis, which means the doors cannot be locked, there are holes in the top for airflow, and there is no wifi or running water.

The Double L Bar Cottage is in the beautiful Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem nestled at the base of the Absaroka Mountains of Northwest Wyoming. The homestead cabin is located 30 miles southwest of Cody, Wyoming, and 90 minutes from the East Gate to Yellowstone National Park. Hardpan Creek can be heard from the cabin and guests enjoy our abundant trails, hiking, fishing, hunting, biking, camping, stargazing, and photographic opportunities.
