Tucked Away Stay - Close To Town and In Nature

Come enjoy our private 5 acres of Pinon trees with the convenience of being 5 minutes from town. Enjoy the joys of children on property and views of incredible mountains with the wildlife that frequents our "back yard". Relax in our private guest area locked off from the rest of our home including a kitchenette and laundry area, all separated from the rest of the house by a custom built and locking doorway. We accept dogs but cannot accept cats due to other guests’ allergies. There is a pet fee.

We welcome you to stay in our guest house: A renewed log cabin on three acres at BV's western edge. This quiet, in-town location is a good base for Arkansas Valley activities. A few miles east of us is Cottonwood Pass with hot springs, hiking, snowshoeing, etc. Or, bike or walk a mile to the east for restaurants and shopping, the Arkansas River and Fourmile trail complex beyond. Note: There are many pet-friendly options nearby, but we do our best to provide an allergen-free studio for guests.

This cabin is perfect for all seasons: Summer for the outdoors and sunsets, Fall for leaves changing, Spring for green views, Winter for cozy days.

Honeydome Hideaway

This is the most charming Dome w/ all the amenities, full kitchen & accessories, full bath, table & chairs, work station, Wi-Fi, Roku, etc. Inside you will find the dome to be spacious & very comfortable. It is great for couples, (Smart Queen bed & (2) 73" cots provided in case friends come), solo adventurers, and business travelers. The dome sits on 2 acres. It is 1 mile from fishing pond & 1 ½ miles from national forest w/ATV trails. Beautiful 360 degree views from wrap around deck.

Red Door Cabin

While staying at Red Door Cabins you will enjoy breathtaking views, amazing rock formations, beautiful pine and aspen trees, a firepit, silence and stars. Have fun finding pieces of petrified wood, geodes, wild berries, and mushrooms on the property and surrounding area. You will get visited by deer, squirrels, maybe a family of foxes and occasionally local black bear or two. So, don’t forget your camera! THERE ARE TWO CABINS ON THE PROPERTY SO YOU MAY HAVE NEIGHBORS DURING YOUR STAY .

Welcome to the "Helms Nest", our tiny home mountain getaway, perfect to come back to after a day of skiing or hiking (a short drive to several 14ers and ski resorts). It has a full kitchen, full bathroom with hot shower and flush toilet, and queen sized bed in the loft. We commonly hear that our space is bigger than imagined.
