Mike was so friendly and accommodating. Stay bed was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our getaway. Property was private and in a beautiful neighborhood that was walking distance to the beach. Beach access was easy and well kept. Shops and stores were a short drive. Great spot! Great Host! Thank you Mike!

Had a lovely weekend stay here as first timers in OBX. The airbnb was clean, had a fun and cozy vibe, and felt safe. Our french bulldog felt at home too! Hosts were super friendly and helpful with recommendations on which beaches allow dogs.

Beautiful home and wonderful stay. Perfect retreat for my visit home to NC. Warm and welcoming, awesome amenities. All of my friends and family wanted this Airbnb stay link so they can book it for future stays. Thanks again! I hope to be back soon!

What a sweet place! It was decorated so cute with a beach theme. It was very peaceful and quiet. It looked out at the golf course so no traffic to disturb you. This place was very clean. It was a close walk to the beach and within a short distance to businesses and places to eat. The kitchenette area was small but amazingly supplied! The electric fireplace added some warmth and ambiance. Cathy also went out of her way to try to help us find an item I thought I’d left in the unit after we checked out. We’d happily stay there again if we return to Kitty Hawk!

What a perfect gem! Such a convenient location and a perfect and welcoming place. Scott was great, from proactive communication before our stay to keeping us updated while we were at dinner about a power outage caused by Helene! I don’t have enough good things to say, we’ll definitely be back

Jays place is an excellent place to stay for a family of 2 or 3. Our family is a family of 4 including one 20 month old and a 3 year old. Jay was so kind to let us use the playpen that was in the shared laundry room but it this rental wasn’t quite big enough as they take naps and need a quiet place to lay. This does not affect our review since it’s something I should have paid better attention to. With that being said, the coolest part of our trip was watching the fighter jets fly above the house every morning (alert: if you’re fearful of loud noises, beware). Not sure if they fly that often or if it was just the time of year but nonetheless it was incredible. The rental was stocked with linen, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, and the kitchen essentials. I especially appreciated the left over spices that other tenants left when they were done, and I did the same with popcorn and paper plates. The park was practically in the back yard and we walked over to it everyday. The grill was wonderful as we used it a couple times. Jays responses was always very quick and answered. If it were just me and my husband next time I would absolutely rent this place again.

Hayley and Alex were so welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend this stay if you have young children. They had all sorts of helpful toys and gear for kids. They're a wonderful couple and willing to help with anything they can.

JB and Chris’ place was extremely clean and looked as beautiful as the pictures! Everything was exactly as they stated which made for an extremely enjoyable visit!

My wife and I stayed at Max and Debbie’s place for the second time and it was even better than the first time. They had a welcome basket (did the first time too), but this one included a personal card and balloon, as my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. We also were able to meet our hosts this time and they are great people. The weather was fantastic (not sure if they had anything to do with that) and we were always comfortable. We spent a lot of our time exploring the area as we always do, but the place was great to relax at. Whether we were out in/by the pool, or watching tv in the living room, we felt like we were at home. We will be guests as long as Max and Debbie open up their space to us.

Fantastic stay. Exactly as advertised, spotless, spacious, and usefully equipped. Hot shower, comfy bed, WiFi and TV all worked perfectly. We had a restful stay for Thanksgiving and really enjoyed the off-season vibe of Manteo and the OBX. OP

Easy in easy check out very clean quiet loved the morning birds chirping away. 2 young boys were playin basketball in the turn around and as we backed out our car, the two of them immediately stopped, sat at the base of the basketball who and waited for us to leave! What respectful and well behaved children so nice to see these days. Thank you

This place is an absolute dream! The location is so perfect and you will not regret staying here. The house is beautiful and in fantastic shape. You can tell the homeowners care about the home and truly make it a special place to relax and unwind. Carolyn and her husband Jonathan are the best hosts of anywhere I have stayed. They are super responsive and the kindest people ever. I would recommend staying here to anyone who wishes to have a magical visit to emerald isle. Thank you so much Carolyn and Jonathan! I had a fantastic stay at this cozy guest suite! The space was small but very thoughtfully laid out, making it feel comfortable and welcoming. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and I had all the essentials I needed. The property itself was quiet, and it was lovely to have a bit of privacy while still being close to the main house if I needed anything. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and charming stay in the area!

Our first Airbnb stay—and what a dream! Reese & Cayce’s place in Kitty Hawk was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated with surf-inspired touches, local photography, and thoughtful details like fresh flowers, snacks, tea, and even dog towels. We were greeted warmly, given helpful beach parking info and dog-friendly food recs, and made to feel truly at home. The bed was super comfy, the couch shifted into a daybed for cozy nighttime TV, and there was a desk—perfect for future extended stays when we have to work. The hammocks were such a relaxing bonus, and we loved how quiet the area was while still being close to everything. The location was ideal for a peaceful escape. We especially enjoyed walks to the Wright Brothers Multi-Use Path—just a short stroll away—for breathtaking sunrises and colorful sunsets with our pup. Even with cold and stormy weather, the space was so welcoming that we didn’t mind at all. We can’t wait to return. 5 shining stars! Thanks for the hospitality!

Sammie’s place is the perfect beach pad! My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in OBX for a work trip and brought our dog. Sammie’s place is located in the perfect area — a quiet neighborhood full of friendly neighbors and just a quick walk to the Ocean and Sound. Outside of the neighborhood had lots of restaurants and stores which was super convenient. We felt very safe, the Airbnb was cute and clean, and Sammie had welcome beers for us and the perfect booklet outlining details for our stay and her recommendations. Sammie’s communication was great and how accommodating she was for our dog was very much appreciated. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat — it’s the perfect size and has everything you could need (privacy, bikes, beach chairs, an outdoor shower, cleanliness…I could go on and on). I look forward to staying with Sammie again in the future!

We loved our stay with Cyrus and Lisa! They were extremely friendly as we ran into them and were extremely flexible and accommodating. Would love to stay with them in the future.

This place was awesome! Perfect space for us, easy bike to the beach, right on the trail to the kitty hawk woods, and there’s a shared pool that was excellent. I hope to stay here again!

We had a great stay at Brooke and Jerry’s place for two nights. Great location right near beach access with a clean and welcoming space, and great recommendations for food :) The perfect relaxing getaway. Hope to be back!

This was our third time staying with Terrie and Monty, every visit has been amazing and this one was no exception. Terrie and Monty are so kind, friendly and helpful. Their cottage is the epitome of tranquility and every time we’ve stayed with them we go home wondering how we can make our home feel just as peaceful. They’re always responsive to questions and have let us know in advance if we need to be aware of anything happening in the area. This time Spectrum was doing some service work on the island and Monty let us know ahead of time and made sure we let them know if we needed help with any internet issues. We were looking for other beach ramps to try and as true locals, they gave us suggestions of good beaches to go to instead. This may not have been our first visit, but it certainly won’t be our last! Loved everything! ♥️

This place was exceptional and the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at! Whitney thought of all the little touches to make it like home. The snacks and treats (and all the extras) were fantastic and the condo was stocked with everything you could think of plus more. Her recommendations were spot on and the area was close to everything. The condo itself was beautiful, clean, and decorated to perfection. Whitney’s communication, directions, and instructions were perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough! Great place and great host! We will be back ♥️

We really loved how welcoming and accommodating they were. Tiffany and her husband were both pleasant people to talk to, and really helpful when we had questions or needed something. We would definitely stay here again!!!
