My family and I had such a wonderful and relaxing vacation! Christa was the perfect host and her place was so welcoming. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. She even had a sweet welcome gift for us, which was such a special touch. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and I loved the view of my daily walks. My family loves to fish and be out on the water, so we took advantage of the private community boat ramp/dock. We enjoyed catching drum, trout and flounder! The sunrise on the water was absolutely stunning and our last morning there we got to see a huge school of dolphins. They even put on a show for us! It was perfect!!! We enjoyed visiting The Bean coffee shop in Oriental and The Silos was a neat place to eat. We look forward to staying here again.

This place is really fit for purpose. I take a group of guys there every year. We eat we sleep we fish we repeat.

We can't even begin to describe the peace this place brought us. As a family who has lived in DC, Chicago and now Charlotte, we've grown to appreciate the tranquil life the city does not provide. If you're looking to get away from the craziness of the city, this is the perfect spot. We basically stayed on the dock the entire trip and were perfectly fine with it. We took a day trip to Downtown Oriental and walked the entire day, ate and drank and loved it. Our only recommendations, and this is really splitting hairs as folks who don't know what it's like to manage a home like this, it would've been great to have some firewood and maybe some additional toiletries. Not a huge deal at all since there's a great Piggly Wiggly down the road. We cannot wait to come back if you'll have us.

The stay here was very nice ! A Great host ,that communicated very well and was very helpful with making sure we knew everything before we arrived. Easy check in and the resort pool was awesome ! We will be back!!!

My spouse and I were looking for an unplugged getaway, and wow oh wow - Rhonda's place was it! The ocean front view combined with a cozy, well-loved and thoughtful interior made for a perfect quiet vacation. Rhonda was an incredibly helpful host and offered great recommendations for places to find local seafood and go for walks. This home is a treasure!

This is a great place to stay and relax. Tim was very responsive and proactive. We were checking in the day after a bad snow storm and he contacted us right away to let us know how the roads were and what to expect. Since it was snowy and cold, we did not get to use the amenities. But the house is located right next to the kayak launch area and it was a very short drive to the pool/club house. We come to this area often and will definitely be staying here again!

We enjoyed staying here! It was well supplied. The home was clean, and the host was responsive. We will definitely be back!

We just spent the weekend here. Place is perfect for a relaxing stay. The house is super nice, clean and perfectly furnished. The hot tub is lush, awesome to relax and watch the stars ! Minimal light pollution. We took the kayaks out which we loved. Lots of places to explore! Overall an awesome place to stay. Would definitely stay again. Thank you to the hosts !

Chris and Bill were wonderful hosts, and their place is a tucked away gem. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, and it's a great location for bird watching.
