This is a historical Arts and Crafts home built in 1925 located a block from downtown. The location of the home is semi-commercial. A neighbor has teenagers and are sometimes known to play loud music and present as teenagers. Palatka is a rugged small town with areas of distress and ranks poorly in terms of economic opportunities. It has been identified as one of the poorest counties in the state of Florida. The town is small and less developed which appeals to those seeking a quieter life.

Full kitchen, the bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with a walk in closet that provides plenty of room for your personal belongings. The full size and twin size pull out beds allow you to bring guest along. Need to work? Do it with a view or forget it and take a kayak out on the lake for some R&R.

Enjoy stunning lake views while sipping your morning coffee on the back deck. Lots of paddling options exist here on spring-fed Sand Lake. Hosts offer a paddle boat, canoe, and paddle boards for your enjoyment. Practice yoga on your own private deck, fish from the dock, or star gaze around the campfire each night. This 70’s mobile home brings you back to when people retired to Florida to have easy access to the Ocklawaha River, Ocala National Forest & Silver Spings. A great location for the adventure seekers of this generation too! Located 1/2 mile to boat ramp, fishing pier, canoe rentals and just a couple miles to hiking, ATV/OHV/Jeep trails. 11 miles to Salt Springs swim area, close to Rodman, St. John’s, Orange Lake.
