What a beautiful cabin in the woods! Lots of wildlife around the property & there was a little hiking path through the woods. Within 15min to two picturesque towns, Camden & Belfast. I highly recommend visiting the alpaca store for some fabulous socks! The cabin was super clean and beautiful. I instantly fell in love with it. We will certainly stay here again if we come to the Lincolnville area again. It snowed while we were here and Andreas husband came over and made sure the driveway was plowed. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!!

Mark hosted my family as we traveled from Michigan to compete in the Mount Desert Island Marathon, and the Rocky Haven Cottage fit our needs perfectly! The space was just as described and offered a very cozy environment. Mark was a great communicator and was a pleasure to meet toward the tail end of our trip. We would have loved to stay longer to enjoy the space and amenities even more, but had an absolute blast during the time we spent there. I can't recommend Rocky Haven enough!

This is a delightful place. Watching the sunrise and moonrise from the dock was beautiful. While it is a bit of a drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, coming back to the house to relax was a highlight. The girls did a few puzzles while the guys played pool. We sat on the dock to relax in the sun and listen to the water lapping on the shore. Thank you for letting us stay here.

Me and my family really enjoyed staying at Buck’s. It is right on the bay and private, perfect for kayaking and bird watching. We rented kayaks at Waters Edge Kayaks with Mike, who was extremely responsive and thoughtful. The location was pretty good, about 40 min to Acadia and also schoodic point. Buck had tons of great suggestions and was easy to get a hold of. Lots of clear instructions around the house too. Also, the house was clean and spacious, perfect for my family of 5. Would definitely come back!

We loved Mark’s camp! We were in Maine for a few days for our kids swim meet at Colby College and loved coming back between sessions to the tranquility of the camp. The sunrise over the lake was amazing, but the wood burning stove was soooo addicting. I think I need to get one. Mark was very helpful and was accommodating when we needed to stay a little longer. Would definitely go again.

Very comfortable home. Beautiful property. I would definitely recommend spending some time on the deck, enjoying the view, but you absolutely have to sit in the Adirondack chairs along the waters edge.

We stayed at the Birch Chalet last week and it was an amazing experience for our family! The views from the deck are even more spectacular in person. We saw a bald eagle, a wood pecker, many seals and schools of fish jumping out of the water. I wish I had my binoculars to see the all the wildlife. Peter was an exceptional host! He was very friendly and accommodating. He shared additional options for hiking that were less crowded and recommendations for restaurants, that did not disappoint. When I couldn't find the lobster crackers etc, he brought more the very next day and even brought us a blueberry pie! The unit does not have A/C but when a heat wave came through, Peter offered us an A/c unit. The mussels were plentiful at low tide, just watch for the pearls. The water was fine to drink right from the tap and the beds were comfortable as well. The humidity made it difficult for the bath mats to dry out. Our experience at Birch was unforgettable and we would love to return next year.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Chalet for our anniversary. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our weekend special. When we first checked in, there was soft music playing and mood lighting, making the cabin feel warm and cozy. They kindly provided us with a flower bouquet, an anniversary cake, treats, and wine. Feras wrote us an anniversary card that was personally addressed to me and my boyfriend; he had clearly read our reservation request closely and had thoughtfully curated our experience accordingly. Ultimately, we had a great stay and we would love to go back in the future.

During our stay, we were spoiled with gorgeous fall weather that really highlighted this beautiful lake home and wonderful property. Outside, we enjoyed fishing off the dock, the wonderful landscaping and the lovely porches. Inside, the kitchen was perfect for cooking family meals, the fireplace room provided exactly the kind of atmosphere we wanted for a lake house getaway, and all of the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, comfortable and as described. It was a delightful stay for everyone in our group of 9 (all ages, from 1 to 68), and we highly recommend it! Terrific and friendly host, clear instructions for check in and check out, and a superb location.

If you're into waking up each morning and finding yourself just staring out at a beautiful scene, you'll like this place as much as my friends and I did. You're a good 20-25 minutes out from the nearest town/store, but really, while you're at the chalet, you won't want to leave. The kitchen had everything we needed, the wifi was great. Morning kayak rides were enjoyed, fire pit time at night was enjoyed, and my friends especially enjoyed the three cats that kept coming and hanging out on the back porch. We'd stay again.

Amazing! We stayed for 9 days and felt right at home. The space was very welcoming, clean, and overall just beautiful inside and out. The view of the lake was incredible! There is plenty to do near by and lots of food options. We highly recommend!!

Michael was a very thoughtful and responsive host, with clear instructions and proactive handling of situations. The house itself was very beautiful and comfortably slept everyone in my party of 8. We would definitely recommend AWD and snow tires for those visiting in the middle of winter. There was a huge snowstorm during our visit and Michael was clear about when the plow would be visiting, although we did have to wait a few hours and shovel ourselves out a little bit, but there were shovels on the property to add to the ones we brought in our cars. We felt there was a longer list of checkout instructions compared to other properties but we also felt that Michael and Maggie provided a greater number and higher quality of amenities such as a fully stocked kitchen and bar area. We would definitely visit again to try out the hot tub and boat in the summer. Thank you to the hosts for sharing your home with us for the weekend!
