True Kiwi Bach Experience

Sitting on the shore of the great Lake Taupo is this genuine family bach. Perfectly located 25 mins south of Taupo or 15 mins north of Turangi and 5 seconds from the water! Lovingly extended and updated since it's 1940's fisherman's hut origins. NOTE: For winter stays, there is NO heatpump or fireplace, only wall heaters. In the autumnal months, it is possible for mice to be seen as the temperatures can cool quickly on the central plateau. Keep all food sealed so you don't tempt them inside.

Beautiful cottage on a private fenced section. Has a wellness room with infra red sauna. 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed the other has a single bed. The cottage suits a couple and a third person. You may be visited by Punkie, my tortoise shell quirky-tailed cat. Glimpse lake views between the trees. Tui Cottage is a non-smoking property. 5 mins walk to a local shopping centre & approximately 5 mins drive to the lakefront.
