Wir waren für 1 Nacht im The Esplanade und werden beim nächsten Mal definitiv wieder hierher zurückkommen. Sehr freundliches & hilfsbereites Personal, sehr gute Lage, alles sauber und modern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben in der Unterkunft etwas vergessen und haben schnelle und unkomplizierte Hilfe erhalten. Herzlichen Dank auch an dieser Stelle für diesen super Service👌

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very, very close to everywhere we wanted to go (walkable). It could have been cleaner. The top levels in the kitchen area were not cleaned at all, but I only noticed because I am two meters tall and like to put things down on my eye level! As others pointed out, the fridge is very noisy. All in all, a great experience.

We had a wonderful time at Gaenor’s place. Spacious and peaceful and decorated beautifully. Very short walk to the beach is a bonus. We had a great time and would return. Thanks very much!

We recently stayed at this stunning holiday accommodation, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing, and a bonus was the spectacular sea view. We highly recommend this for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, tranquil setting with a host who goes above and beyond to make the stay a very pleasant experience.

We had a great stay in this beautiful and serene place. Sher and her family were very helpful, they ensured that we enjoyed the experience to the fullest by directing us to the great spots. Finally we appreciated their flexibility regarding check-in and check-out times that suited us. Appreciated Sher, we will definitely be back.

Large apartment, well appointed (nice balcony including a BBQ grill even!), and very close to the cliff path for running / walking into the centre, as described. Wium was easy to communicate with and helpful, including recommendations on where to run (and where not to), favourite restaurants/cafes/activities. Providing coffee (pods for the machine, there is also a cafetière), tea and even fresh milk and some rusks was a nice touch. Parking is inside the gate. A couple of specifics which I particularly appreciated: knives still sharp enough to cut a tomato and - joy of joys! - an adjustable-height shower! The only one I saw in 3.5 weeks in South Africa.

The apartment was perfectly located within walking distance of everything. It was exactly as per the photos and description with brilliant amenities.

Petro was so friendly and helpful and attentive to all our needs. we had a small problem with electricity and she went out of her way to resolve it timeously and without any interruption to our stay. beautiful place and lovely and clean. wonderful pool and garden for the kids. a definite must visit for families.

Thank you so much for accommodating us, especially on such short notice! The space was incredibly clean and peaceful—truly exceeded my expectations. I honestly have nothing to complain about. Communication was smooth, and everything was just so easy. I’ll definitely be booking this place again the next time I’m in Gansbaai!

We were absolutely blown away by how well equipped this Airbnb was! It had everything we could have needed and more. Best place we have stayed in. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, braai fully ready to use, kitchen essentials - wow, everything! Bathrooms had all the amenities. Great sitting area off the main room and grassy area our grandson enjoyed running in. Top security, we unfortunately discovered, when our grandson pushed the panic button. Our host messaged and security double checked all was well - impressive (and embarrassing).

What a great place to stay in. The dogs loved the garden and I loved that Allison prepared for the dogs (raised beds and towels for them). The outside seating area was also lovely and I wished the weather was better for us to make better use of the outside area. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely little spot - we didn’t want to leave. Outdoor shower was amazing 🤩 restaurant recommendations definitely on point - Char’d, the steak restaurant was up there on one of the best steaks we’d ever had

What a lovely, tranquil, and peaceful stay! The home was spotless and truly one of the best and most well-equipped places we’ve ever stayed in. From the spacious and comfortable bedrooms to the pristine bathrooms and the thoughtful amenities throughout, everything was designed to make our stay incredibly enjoyable and stress-free. Even though the weather wasn’t the best- the home was so cosy to spend in doors as well, but definitely booking it during summertime to get to experience it then as well. Overall, a fantastic experience—10/10, would definitely recommend, with a lovely host/cohost to make it a great experience.

A wonderful place to stay! Great private braai area overlooking beautiful fynbos and we really enjoyed the woodfired hot tub. Comfy beds, well equipped, modern and clean. So quiet at night, close to the beach and beautiful star gazing.

We had a great stay and Lisa is a wonderful host. You have to keep in mind that it is a little far to walk to the lagoon and would defenitely not recommend doing it after hours.

We really loved the place. It met all our expectations. It was clean , beautiful and private. We had a very relaxing time. This definitely is a little gem. Well worth the money. Thanks for an amazing host. We will definitely be back.

Very cute and quaint cottage, separate from the main house and a street away from the ocean. Very friendly hosts and felt right at home.

Great apartment and very central, we rarely used our car as there are so many restaurants, shops and attractions in the area. Would surely recommend this apartment.
