Ons huisje staat in één van de mooiste Waterlandse dorpen, Broek in Waterland. Het bevindt zich in een prachtige omgeving, op 8 km van Amsterdam. Op 3 minuten lopen afstand vind je de bushalte, waardoor je binnen 12 minuten op Amsterdam Centraal staat. Het gastenverblijf zelf biedt alles wat je tijdens een vakantie nodig hebt. In ons gastenverblijf is het dus heerlijk 'thuiskomen' na bijvoorbeeld een drukke dag in de stad, of bijvoorbeeld een fietstocht langs alle leuke dorpjes hier in de buurt.

Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Within half an hour you'll be in the centre of Amsterdam but also in Alkmaar, Volendam, Zaanse Schans. We offer you a spacious private guest house in a beautiful surrounding. You'll have a lot of privacy and the owner is happy to inform you and make it as comfortable as possible. The cottage is suitable for couples, solo business travelers and families (with children).

Een heel bijzondere plek in de stad. Een landelijke straat die al eeuwen bestaat. Kasseien op de weg, natuur om de hoek. Het historische centrum van Alkmaar op 10 minuten lopen. Het gastenverblijf (circa 40m2) is in het achterhuis met een eigen ingang. Het bestaat uit een ruime woon/slaapkamer met tweepersoonsbed, een kleine kookgelegenheid, badkamer en wc. Via de openslaande deuren komt u op het privé terras. WiFi en televisie zijn aanwezig. Eigen parkeerplaats. Huren van fiets mogelijk.

On the ground floor is the hippest restaurant in Alkmaar with a sunny terrace on the water.
