The house is a beautiful mix between Lao traditional architecture with a lot of charming wood and some more modern and western amenities. With direct street views to the alms giving ceremony every morning, you can watch this spectacle from your own little balcony without even going out.

Leu Tribe Historical House

Very old wooden house that has been rebuilt and RENOVATED in town from a Leu tribe of northern laos. This house is a museum so if you are interested about the culture and architecture, it is a great option. It features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and toilet and 1 living room with 1 sofa and 1 bed upstairs. Downstairs is the open kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 toilet. IMPORTANT: This house IS NOT MODERN, and has NO MODERN FACILITIES. The roof is made of a particular bamboo and there is NO INSULATION.

Nice 1 bedroom apartment - close to town - in an area where many expats live. The apartment has a lot of light , allows you to relax after a day out of exploring Luang Prabang and to even cook your own dishes you bought at the nearby markets. If you want to experience a more local area than the UNESCO peninsula, but still have close access to it, this is a great location for you.
