Small Cabin located on 10 acres with spectacular views! Wake up and look out over the Ouachita mountains! Step out onto the large deck and enjoy a hot cup of coffee and nature! The loft is carpeted and has a Queen mattress. We have a full (tiny-home) kitchen with pots and pans or a grill if you choose to cook. Cute Bathroom with large shower. Blow dryer in cabinet. No cable (unplug and enjoy nature!) But we do have a DVD player and we usually watch TV using our lightning cord on our iPhones!

This unit backs up against a forest with wildlife. Parking is limited and shared with other guests. Very narrow spiral staircase (2 feet). 200lb weight limit on hammock chairs. We highly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance, especially in the winter months. No Locals.

Nettles Nest Country Inn

Nettles Nest is a rustic cabin nestled in the piney woods of northeast Texas in the small town of Redwater, just outside of Texarkana. It is located on a 5 acre lake. It's a great place to unplug. No Wifi. Fish (bring your own pole,etc.), swim, paddleboat, kayak, relax on the deck or under the pavilion. Overlooking Caddo River. We are in the middle of the tiny town of Norman, home to the states smallest public library. We also have a Dollar General, a Post Office, & a General Store. Pets are welcome, but we do ask that you clean up after them, keep them on leashes when outside, don't leave them unattended unless they are in a carrier, and please do not allow them on beds or furniture.
