Great place, great location, and lots to do in the surrounding area. The game room was the favorite for the kids. They played down there almost the entire time of our stay. The host was great with communication, and checked in on us everyday. I appreciated that, because not many hosts do that. The clubhouse wasn't that dark of a drive at all, and we all were able to enjoy the pool & hot tub. I highly recommend this place!

This was my first time booking on Airbnb. Mark answered back very quickly with any concerns I had. The house itself was to die for, absolutely stunning! Plenty of room for all the guests, loved the hot tub outside. My group got to see different wildlife we’ve never seen in the city! The kitchen was equipped with all seasonings and whatever you needed to do your cooking. We got to see some rounds of golf early morning while sipping our coffee! Took a dip in the pool at the clubhouse which was only 5 mins away from the home! Our booking was only for 2 nights and we came 3 hours away, we expressed to mark that we were enjoying ourselves and got a later check out time. My family got to do s'mores by the beautiful fire pit. In all honesty we all got a max of about 6 hours that weekend, we didn’t wanna miss a thing lol. If we could give 10 stars we would!!! Definitely will be booking again! Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Thanks again mark for such an amazing weekend away!

Lovely home. People made comments of all the rules. Don’t let that deter you from making a reservation for this home. It was a great stay for our families! If you simply respect the property as if it were your own, you’ll be just fine. The main floor master suite was gorgeous and the hot tub was great! The kitchen was a bit on the smaller side but we got the job done. I loved the huge table to accommodate our party of 10. We took our families snowmobiling for the first time and had a blast! Jeffery was responsive, helpful and friendly! Great job!!!! Look forward to next year!

House was clean and spacious. Parking was great for car or small trailer, tight parking for trailers over 18ft in the winter. Mallard road is not fully plowed. Overall was great for my needs.

Great location in a beautiful setting. Amanda was very responsive and the house was perfect for our weekend. Also the pool, hot tub and sauna were a great bonus!

Great spot on a secluded private lake! Was a great base for us to explore the Tunnel of Trees and Dead Man’s Hill. Fall colors were at their peak and the temperature was perfect. It was truly the perfect getaway. We would definitely love to come back in the summer and see buoy the lake and Great Lakes! Mark is a terrific host!

Luciana’s Whileaway Lakefront House was a wonderful experience. She was very helpful and made the stay easy and hassle-free. Would definitely recommend this property!

Was a great set up and location for our Snowmobiling trip. Cottage was right next to trail 7. The snowmobile rental place place right across the street as well as a nice restaurant.

We loved our stay at this adorable cottage! The decor was charming, with a fun and relaxing beach theme carried throughout the home. Everything was thoughtfully stocked—whether it was kitchen essentials or extra towels, the house had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was also spotless and very cozy. The location was ideal: tucked away on a quiet road for peace and privacy, yet just a short drive from town.

Cabin was the perfect place for our winter get away. Host was always responsive and had helpful information. The beds were comfortable and host provided many helpful extras. The location was peaceful and beautiful. We plan on returning and staying longer.

Our stay was great! Normally in hotels for work, so it was a great change. Nice gorgeous lake setting for the fall season!

Retro vibes but recently updated and fully functional. Our kids loved the decor in the “football room.” It was zero degrees outside but the cabin was warm and cozy for our family trip. The hosts were friendly and responded promptly to our questions. The cabin has a large mud room which was the perfect place to stash our family’s ski gear. A burbly creek runs right behind the house and we could hear it from the bedroom as it lulled us to sleep. We would no doubt stay at Gus’s Stump again.

Nice private setting on the lake. Close to skiing and snowmobile trails. Great place, will be back.

Beautiful and serene. The cabin was spacious and clean. The kiddos enjoyed kayaking and the adults enjoyed nature. Will return in the future

My family had a great time on our ski weekend staying in this lovely and private home. Felt like we were miles away from town but everything we needed was less than 10 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again!

The home was absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed. The only thing was that there were minor things broken around the house and with it being next to a golf course, a broken window, but Regan voiced that that may happen. Otherwise the home was beautiful and a peaceful stay. I highly recommend it!

The house is beautiful and the space was perfect for my family. The bedrooms were spacious and we felt the common areas gave us enough room to play games and have dinner together. The view is great from the porch and master. I just wish the weather was better so we could have enjoyed the lake. Brittney was very responsive and sent us a link to her guest/guidebook that had plenty of info on local restaurants and attractions. We would happily stay again if we travel to the area.

Stephanie was an amazing host ! Due to our other home canceling last minute, she responded fast. Her home was BEAUTIFUL & matched every photo. Most listings don’t come with basic necessities or items you just might’ve forgotten at home. Stephanie’s home came with anything you could think of. Her home came with pack and play, toys for the kids, a baby walker, sleds, pots/pans, silverware, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, ziplock bags, aluminum foil, towels/ bathroom necessities like hand soap/ body wash/ shampoo & towels. We loved every moment at staying at her home. This is most definitely a 10 star home. Will definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay. Quiet cute neighborhood, great location, lots to see and do and explore. I will be back.

The cabin was the epitome of Michigan "Up North Rustic." It had all the needed ammenities and was cozy.. The host was extremely responsive and went above and beyond. Would stay here again!

Great house - great host - great location! Stayed with some friends for a weekend of skiing. Jake was a great host and made sure we were well taken care of. The hot tub was great after a long day of skiing and the area was beautiful.

Marilee was very kind throughout, the place was not difficult to find or get in and out of. The wifi was spotty, I don’t know if that was due to storms passing through or what but if you need to work perhaps bring a hotspot of your own. Overall it was a great experience for my friends and I on the fourth. Neighbors were friendly and even came over and sat by fire briefly with us.

The location was perfect for a quick long weekend getaway with my family for snowmobiling. The house is located right across the street from the trail system, which leads to everything. There was ample space for parking and maneuvering my trailer. We were very happy with the quality and condition of the rental. It was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Dave and Candee were very helpful with local attractions and responsive to any questions we had. On top of that, we had excellent meals at the local restaurants, and the local establishments were very friendly and helpful when we had some mechanical issues with our sleds. Recommend this rental highly.
