Osa: soggiorni in alloggi sulla spiaggia

The house was perfect. The privacy of the gates was awesome. The beds were comfortable. Sergio had great communication. The air conditioning worked great. The house was fully Equipped with anything you needed to cook with. Definite bonus,It had a washing machine and the place to hang out your clothes. This is not a negative,but there are so many keys! So many doors to get locked out of if you were not careful. There were like 7 or 8 separate keys. We were extremely careful... We figured out a system that would work for us. Check-in and check out Went extremely smooth. On a typical night, One or two crabs would make it in the outside kitchen. No big deal , we just popped them back outside. It's Costa Rica after all, PURA VIDA. One more thing, The location of sergio's place was amazing. This was the Only way to walk to the beach. The beach is very close by the way. Thank you Sergio.

Excelente lugar para descansar o realizar teletrabajo, muy privado, muy seguro... Se puede andar en bicicleta, en kayak o simplemente disfrutar de la brisa del mar.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Zum Strand runter haben wir leider nicht zu Fuss gefunden aber mit dem Auto ist man auch schnell unten. Alle Zimmer haben Aircondition. Alles war sauber und ordentlich . Es hat eine grosse Waschmaschine und einen Tumbler, den wir nutzen konnten. Also wie Probleme mit dem Ofen hatten, hat Cindy sofort reagiert ( obwohl es schon spät war) und eine Lösung gefunden. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Einfach aber zur Info, das 3. Zimmer befindet sich unten und unsere Kids hatten ein bisschen Angst dort allein zu schlafen - lag aber auch an dem Gewitter was wir so ziemlich jeden Abend hatten🙈

Este lugar fue maravilloso! Esta frente a la playita Juanito Mora, que más que playa es una piscina, los amaneceres ahi son preciosos, y aunque el sol no se esconde en el mar, los atardeceres son hermosos. El lugar tienen muchos senderitos para caminar, y la zona verde es espectacular. Tomen en cuenta que la cocina es compartida entre 2 cabañas, pero esta super equipada Pero la joya de la corona de esta propiedad, es la familia que la cuida, que personas más genuinas, amistosas, cuidadosas y atentas! Nos ayudaron en todo momento, su trato fue super cordial, Stephen tiene 2 tesoros en el sur, esta propiedad y esos cuidanderos, incluso nos llevaron de pesca con ellos, nos ayudaron con recomendaciones, y fueron increiblemente amables en todo momento. Abrir la ventana y ver un grupo de monos tití pasando por las copas de los árboles o ver las lapas volando, o a los auyadores entre los arboles, y los cientos de cantos de pajaritos es uno de los privilegios que se puede disfrutar aquí.

We stayed here for one week during our two week honeymoon. Drake bay appealed to us because of Corcovado and unspoiled natural surroundings of the Drake Bay Area. The Airbnb is in a fantastic location, situated just outside of Drake Bay. It felt very private, right on the beach. The property is beautiful, we loved being visited by scarlet macaws and white face monkeys. Our host, Alexis, was absolutely phenomenal. She helped with all our tour bookings, local recommendations and checking in each day to see if we needed anything. Alexis went above and beyond, and was the best host we’ve ever encountered. I would highly recommend staying at La Joyita, it’s a little piece of paradise that we will remember forever.

This stay was a fun adventure—like camping but with the comfort of a room! It would make a great camping-style getaway for a family. The location was fantastic, just about five minutes from the beach and with eateries in both directions. A couple of things to keep in mind: there’s only a fan for cooling, and the water is cold, but after a day at the beach, it’s actually quite refreshing! Overall, a unique and enjoyable experience for those looking for a simple, nature-inspired stay. Can't recommend enough.

Maria’s beach house had a fabulous vibe, steps from the water, animal viewing from the deck and comfortable. Maria was a fabulous host, easy to communicate with, knowledgeable and responsive. She had great recommendations which helped make our stay even better. The house is old and has a very authentic feel. A few small additions and upgrades would make it phenomenal. Our group enjoyed our stay here!!

Pura Vida - Great host and location. Walkable to the beach and several restaurants. Calm oasis in the back yard, where we could see Tucans, howler monkeys and an array of birds! Host is very responsive and we also appreciated having air conditioning as well as a washer / dryer. Uvita is a great place to visit with a ton of fun activities, and having the small pool onsite was really nice to escape the hot midday sun. The full kitchen is also a bonus. Modern, easy - with good WiFi and a good host. The howler moneys did wake us up in the morning, but that was actually pretty cool alarm clock - although they sounded like a sick dog!!! We stayed at 3 places, all of which said you’d see moneys, never saw any and we saw them all from the comfort of the shaded porch here.

Beautiful place very close to the beach! Host gave clear instructions for check-in. For a moment the water went out but the co-host quickly solved the problem.

Casa práctica para ir en familia, buena distribución y una cocina que te invita a usarla... Zona privada, adónde se respira paz y tranquilidad rodeado de arboles y animales. Lo recomiendo al 100% si vas con la mentalidad de conectarse con la naturaleza y descansar. Tomen en cuenta que al estar en una zona boscosa hay mucho insecto, no obstante, es lo normal en la zona. Esperamos regresar el próximo año.

The view from this villa is incredible. Looking out from the patio, you can see all the way to the ocean. Our concierge, Oscar, was incredibly responsive and kindly worked with us to check in when we arrived later than expected. He also left us some delicious mango and watermelon! The location listed is slightly inaccurate to where the villa actually is, but it still provided easy access to the main Dominical area. Also, definitely bring 4 wheel drive as the hosts suggest, as it's a steep climb to the house. We would definitely rent from this group again!

El lugar es tal cual lo ve uno en las fotografías. La atención de Magda es impecable. Muy atenta. Nos dejó ingresar un poco antes y nos brindó ayuda importante con el comercio local. Gracias Magda!!

We loved this place! It’s way better than the photos! The plants are beautiful! The pool is lovely and deep. We loved the space! Bathroom is great. We liked where it was downtown Dominical. Easily walkable. We highly recommend this spot! (Busy roads don’t bother us.)

We had a wonderful time there with our family. We enjoyed to use the sea kayaks and the SUPs to get the magic spirit of the quiet Gold Dulce. The apartment is great, we enjoyed to listen to music over the modern TV and to watch our vacation fotos. Our daughter loved to spent the time with the dogs. To use the rain protected pool during heavy rain is also a wonderful experience. Amanda is a great host and supported with best class tips for trips in the area.

Incredible location with great views of the ocean. A truly special architectural tree house. It is clear that the owner has put his passion and creativity into designing a special place. There are numerous activities and waterfalls within easy driving distance. Dominical has some great little restaurants as well. We will be recommending to our friends!!

Ein wunderschöner, naturnaher Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig mit privatem Strand – perfekt zum Entspannen und Natur erleben. Wir haben viele Papageien gesehen und ein nahegelegenes, unscheinbares Restaurant bietet überraschend gutes Essen. Ein 4×4 Geländewagen ist für die ca. 40-minütige Schotterstraße zur Unterkunft absolut notwendig. Die Unterkunft ist einfach, aber sauber, hat alles Wichtige (kaltes Wasser, Ventilator, Strom bis ca. 22 Uhr). Es gibt keine Fenster, dafür aber überall Fliegengitter und Gardinen – also gut geschützt. Nachts kann es im Zimmer warm werden. Aaron, der Manager der Unterkunft, war sehr freundlich, jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns eine romantische Sunset Kanutour organisiert. Frühstück war lecker und wurde bei Bedarf auch sehr früh serviert, z. B. vor unserer Corcovado-Tour. Ideal für Naturliebhaber! Wer hohen Komfort erwartet, sollte sich auf das Abenteuer einstellen oder nur 1–2 Nächte bleiben. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter!

We had a wonderful stay. Everything looks like in the pictures. there are many supermarkets and Restauranta near by. the beach has only a walking distance.

Sabrina & Edu couldn’t have been better hosts! Their “end of the world” paradise is quiet & peaceful. Their home cooked meals were delicious & plentiful. The bungalows had thick netting so we could feel the cool night air as we slept. It was fabulous to wake up to all of the birdsongs every morning, They made a special effort to show us birds & animals. We really enjoyed the use of their boat to explore the River where their diverse ecosystem shines in the jungle. We also liked taking the boat on the lagoon to the beach. If you want a quiet and peaceful getaway, this is the place. However, Sabrina is happy to help you with any tours (and there are quite a few to choose from). We will always treasure our time here. :)

Cool experience! walkable to beach and restaurants

Lovely villa in beautiful surroundings and a short walk to the beach (1 min). Cara is a fabulous host. Very proactive, welcoming, readily available and responsive. We had a lovely stay and sad to leave! Thank you Cara!

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in deze woning! Na een dag de omgeving ontdekken voelde het echt als thuiskomen. Het bed lag heerlijk, de keuken was mooi en volledig uitgerust, perfect om zelf iets lekkers te maken. De koude douche was even wennen, maar uiteindelijk juist verfrissend. De woonkamer is uitgerust met een heerlijke bank en grote smart tv. Wat we ook erg waardeerden was dat we in overleg eerder mochten inchecken, dat maakte onze aankomst extra relaxed. Het contact met de host verliep prettig en soepel, daar waren we echt blij mee. Een klein aandachtspuntje: het huisje was hier en daar wat stoffig en we vonden wat insectenlijken in de badkamer en woonkamer. Geen groot probleem, maar wel iets om op te letten voor volgende gasten. De woning ligt aan een doorgaande weg, maar daar heb je tijdens je verblijf totaal geen last van. Al met al een heerlijke plek waar we ons snel thuis voelden. Niet twijfelen, dikke aanrader! Dank voor de fijne ontvangst!

We spent 8 days here. the AC was a saviour for this Canadian and the outdoor shower in the moonlight is a must. It had everything we needed. Thank you Guy and team!
