This cozy gem was the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate a special occasion! A one night stay was not nearly enough to soak in the gorgeous view and try out all the fun! Everything was so perfectly and simplistically appointed to meet any need. We hope to return!

Great place for a fall get away girls weekend! Beautiful location with views of the lake from every room! We enjoyed the screened in porch in the morning and the fire pit in the evening. Ashley was quick to respond to me and offered suggestions when I inquired. House is well equipped, they've thought of everything!

Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived! The house is beautifully decorated, so clean, and so well stocked. There was everything you could ever need in the kitchen, plus laundry detergent and cleaning supplies, shampoo and conditioner in both bathrooms, and even snacks and coffee, etc.! You can literally just show up with your clothes and bathing suit!! We would 100% stay here again, and recommend it to anyone!

We loved the house and its location. We enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit tremendously. Sunrise was beautiful as was the full moon rising. Our host Christine was pleasant and responsive and informed us the house was ready early and we could check in early! We will definitely return! Our pups loved running around the yard!

A fantastic stay! Super clean and well cared for house, comfortable beds, and wonderful outdoor spaces and waterfront. A great lake getaway spot for small families. Note that most bedrooms (except 1) are up a creaky spiral staircase - easy for us but could be a challenge for some folks.

We came back to Michelle and Jim's place in 2025 for a reason... It's a wonderful place to spend time! The home is beautifully decorated, the outdoor patio and deck areas have comfortable seating and the fire pit and dock house provide onsite getaways. If the weather keeps you inside... you can shoot pool, throw darts, play foosball or watch a movie. Lots of terrific restaurants and historical sites within 30-45 minutes of the house. Truly a magical place! Thank you Michelle and Jim.

Beautiful house!! We really enjoyed our time here. We were a group of 4 ladies celebrating a birthday, and it worked well! It would be even more ideal for a family with kids, given the fun bunk room. We loved sitting on the deck, using the kayaks, soaking in the hot tub, and visiting local restaurants. Shenandoah National Park is also only about an hour away.

This is our third year renting an Airbnb home to have Christmas with our growing family, and Plentiful Bliss has raised the bar. The pictures are accurate, but at the same time, don't really do it justice. We were surprised at how big the space is, upstairs and down, and how many little places there were to gather in groups big and small. The view of the lake is stunning—I can only imagine what it's like in the Summer! The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to do A LOT of cooking, including an air fryer (that was unexpected) and a coffee bean grinder which came in handy when the one I brought stopped working. The game room kept the kids, old and young, occupied, and on one unseasonably warm day, several got out on the lake in the canoe and kayaks. This is a memory all will cherish for many years to come. I will add for those who may be allergic, pets are allowed, and we noticed some dog hair in the main living area. Yet it in no way detracted from our amazing time!

Our family of 9 spent a week here, and couldn't be happier. Our groups ages spread from 12 to 84, and every one of us had a great time. However beautiful this home and lake look in the photos - it is even more so in person. We had a blast kayaking and paddleboarding, and took a few day trips to the state park, battlefields, and monticello. We spent our mornings having coffee in the beautiful sunroom and evenings with wine overlooking the sunset on the lake. Fred and Gette were extremely accommodating when we realized how close we were to our aunt and added her on for Easter dinner at the last minute. Great communication as well - it was really just a wonderful experience all around.
