This place is magic and we will be back. The road there is gnarly and takes about 1.5hours to get there from the turn off. If you love the transkei in all its natural beauty & living right within the village then you will love this as much as we did. The house is rustic and could do with some minor upgrades and maintenance but at the end of the day it does have all you need. Great dog friendly house in the Transkei!!!!! Garden is secured for fur babies, which is really hard to find in rural EC. We got Crayfish from the locals, fished, made fire, walked and hiked and swam in beautiful tidal pools. Its my type of magic and we loved it ☀️

Unser Aufenthalt in dieser Oase von Eybe und Alicia war einer unserer besten Unterkünfte Wunderbares Rundhaus und wunderbare Außendusche. Aber besonders war der Kontakt zu dieser wunderbaren Familie, die es einem erlauben in ihre Welt einzutauchen Danke dafür !!!! Und für das großartige Essen an eurem Tisch. Unser 4&4 Pickup hat uns souverän zum Grundstück gebracht Wanderung zum Hole in the Wall war großartig und von der Familie organisiert Südafrika auf eine besondere Art kennengelernt Gabriele und Klaus

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage and appreciated William’s help while there. Matt went out of his way to ensure we enjoy our time there. The cottage is well equipped and we had no electricity issues. Thank you and we will definitely be back!

Very beautiful and peaceful. Armin and Sabina were amazing and it was a privilege to be part of their world, a world of fruit trees, orchards, ducks, chickens and horses. My daughters loved participating in the feeding of the animals and collecting the eggs. We also paddled the river and explored the wild beach. There is no electricity and it became so wonderful at night with all the candles. A highly recommend a destination.

Lizeka has been a great host. She was very responsive and understanding. The accommodation was as described in the description and pictures. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at Lizeka's place if they around mthatha, Eastern Cape.

Loved the house, the views everything. Big place and loads of space and a lovely outside area to spend time with loves ones while enjoying the fresh air. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place.
