The Studio

Welcome to my secluded, peaceful hideaway. The studio is a large open plan space. Large sliding doors completely open up the front of the building onto the deck, giving you a feeling of always being close to nature. Surrounded by trees, orchard, lawn and garden, the studio is a quiet retreat space. The sound of the sea and bird song are always in the background. It's 50m from our house and well hidden by trees, so you'll feel very private. The best beach in NZ is a 15 minute walk away!

Nestled behind the sand dunes and with direct access onto Hukuwai Beach and Motu Dunes Trail - Hukuwai Beach Cottage is the perfect location for couples wanting to unwind with quiet beach walks and/or biking. Our modern luxury cottage is fully equipped with quality linen, furniture, and fittings. After a beach swim/walk, bike ride or surf you can cool off under the outside shower and relax in the courtyard/garden with a cold drink. Located on SH35 only 2 minutes' drive from Opotiki.

Waiotahe Beach Hutts

Enioy our slice of paradise at Waiotahe beach. This Tiny-Home-style bach is only 2 min walk to a beautiful swimming beach. Nestled away in Waiotahe drifts; a perfect get-away for a long weekend. The Beach hutts have all the comforts of modern living: ultra-fast broadband, Smart TV, an extra large shower, dishwasher, large BBQ and more. This large site has plenty of room for additional tents and caravans for larger families (power available). Dogs ok with conditions.

Longview Cottage - peace and quiet.

My place is close to beaches, bush and the famous Motu cycle way. You’ll love my place because of the friendly welcome, the little extras AND the comfy bed!! Only 2 hours driving from either Tauranga, Rotorua or Gisborne - a good resting point. Lovely quiet cottage set on lifestyle block with many chickens and sheep. 3 minutes driving to fabulous Waiotahi beach and only 10 minutes into Opotiki for cafes and shopping. Peace and tranquility - leave the city behind.

Chell-Sea Hideaway

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located a short stroll between the best voted beach in NZ and the Ohiwa harbour and wharf. Cosy and well appointed with the comforts of home. A queen bed to rest after a big day beaching or exploring this beautiful location! A full kitchen with twin portable elements and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Handy to the golf course, Ohiwa wharf, Port Ohope Store and Cafe. 10mins drive to the main Ohope shops.

Relax with the whole family at this fully fenced peaceful bach. With plenty of room for kids and the dog to run around. It made up of 3 pods. Kitchenette inside and kitchen bench and bbq outside. It’s basic but very cosy and has everything you need including a fire pit. Sleeps four Adults comfortably and 2+ kids

Ohope Beach Retreat

Welcome to our Piece of Paradise at Ohope Beach. Right across the road from NZ's most loved Beach, with views of White Island and Whale Island. Beach access is across the road and you are a 4 min walk to the Ohope General Store and Cafe and a 8 min walk to Ohope wharf.

Sand Dune Studio

Kick back and relax with the sounds of the ocean in this calm, private space. The beach is a mere stroll away. Bring your bikes, you can park up and make use of the motu/dune bike trail which is accessible from just beyond the studio.
