Enjoy the nature and light surrounding this historic building turned modern comfortable space for guests. Placer Counties’ fruit growing industry can be traced back to the early 1800’s, and this particular fruit shed has been in existence since at least the late 1800’s from what I found in the archives. This is LaCava Inn! Be transported to a Mediterranean hideaway in this one-of-a-kind bed and breakfast suite with stunning pastoral views, a hot tub and conveniently located on the Placer wine trail. The suite accommodates 2 adults and was designed specifically to be your peaceful and romantic retreat. LaCava Inn is stocked with a fully functioning kitchen, dining nook, bed cove, spacious bathroom, private balcony, and sunk in hot tub overlooking breathtaking views. A destination in itself!

Vineyard Retreat/Private entrance/Unique features

Come and relax at “The Double MK Ranch” overlooking the vineyard of Dono Dal Cielo. Centrally located between I-80 and Hwy 65 and set within Placer County wine trail. We have two spaces (same price) just specify which room you want to stay in. Our Romantic Suite is attached to the Theater Game Room which is EXCLUSIVE to the Suite. Our additional space is a Tiny Home- full kitchen, full bath and a queen Murphy bed. If the Suite is NOT rented the Tiny home renter WILL have access to the Game Room

Pine Street Cottage Downtown Auburn - dog friendly

This 1920's cottage is a block away from Downtown Auburn's charming shops, bars & restaurants, and half mile from historic Old Town and Court House We are located just over a mile from Robie Point's famous Western States trail, and a half mile from the race's finish at Placer High School. We are ten minutes drive from the American River, a half hour from Lakes Folsom or Clementine, and an hour and 1/2 from Lake Tahoe. We are dog friendly, and hope you love our home as much as we do.

The Inkling -Studio Guesthouse Downtown 2 beds

The Inkling is a separate apartment attached to a Victorian home built in 1890. It is in a quiet neighborhood near beautiful scenic canyons. Close to Old Town Auburn, you may enjoy restaurants, antique shops, family-friendly activities, the American river, and many, many trails. It is less than .5 miles from downtown as well. There is an enclosed grassy area for our human and canine guests. We live in the main house with our 3 small dogs Lola, Leo and Charlie.

Little River House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You will be greeted with beauty and fantastic views nestled among giant Ponderosa Pines, a wide variety of wildlife and birds galore. Bald eagles have been spotted on occasion! As a guest you will have access to a very private spot on the river where you can try your luck panning for gold or fishing. You can also just relax while reading a good book, skipping rocks or just dip your toes in the water.

The Crooked Inn

The Crooked Inn is truly a gem located right between walking distance to both the Auburn State Rec Area and Downtown Auburn. All the benefits of a house, with all the conveniences of a hotel. Owned and operated by me, a local Auburn resident, it's easy to feel at home while on the road. From an extensively stocked kitchen, oversized towels down to night lights so that you can find your way to that midnight snack without stubbing a toe.
