Avalon House: The Mine Managers

The Mine Managers Suite at Avalon House has some of the original timber wall panelling dating back to 1889 giving it old word charm whilst upgraded modern amenities make it a warm and comfortable private apartment for two. This was the residence of Thomas Davey who managed the Harrietville Gold Company till the great depression in the 20’s. With a private pet friendly courtyard, it is in the centre of town walking distance to Cafes, Parks, Rivers, Pubs and all Harrietville has to offer.

Our cabin is the perfect base to explore the beautiful surrounding area and kicking back around the fire. Suitable for families, couples or a small group of friends. Cabin21 is a self contained cedar cabin, overlooking the Golf Course with views to Eagles nest , the gondola and ski runs. It is a Upstairs in the loft is a queen bed and downstairs a sofa bed. It's located a short walk ( approx 5 minutes) from the Village Square & Kosciuszko Express Chairlift with a shuttle bus stop nearby in winter. The cabin is fully self-contained and includes linen and a fully equipped kitchen .
