The Treehouse: Off-grid Retreat

Shaded in a canopy of macrocarpa trees at the base of Mt Taranaki national park, The Treehouse is a grown-up childhood sanctuary. Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. Kick back in the canopy, swoop on the swings or shoot down the slide. This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

River Belle is set on a working farm only 10 minutes away from the city of New Plymouth. A secluded Glamping site set on 160 acres next to Mangaoraka river. The Chocolate Box Stay sits on an elevated section with a bushy background. It is a full home away from home suitable for single or family groups, a wonderful relaxing place to stay. There are two bedrooms , one with a queen bed, the second with a queen and a single bed. Also a sofa bed in a sunroom , which has heavy curtains , for privacy from the lounge It is located close to the scenic coastal walkway, Ngamotu beach & playground, Mt Paritutu, and Back Beach for walking and maybe a surf.

Our private enclave of 9 houses is nestled at the end of a private drive and is home to a mix of permanent residents and baches surrounded by farm land. We live onsite.

Orchard Cottage

Orchard Cottage is a lovely relaxing place for a family/ couple or someone in Taranaki for work to stay. It has 2 living areas, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. There is a queen bed, double bed and double fold out in the the second living area. Plus a small laundry area. The cottage has a nice covered outdoor eating area and BBQ with a lovely rural outlook. It is located on our property with good parking and fully fenced.
