We welcome you to Matakana Escape. This modern 2-bedroom unit is the perfect place for your escape, to relax and unwind. It features stunning rural views and is bathed in afternoon sun. The large deck is perfect for BBQ’s and the outdoor area provides lots of space for kids to play. Matakana Village and Market are a flat 1km walk away. Private stand alone unit on our lifestyle property, seperate from house. The unit is well equipped with everything you need. Linen and towels are provided.

The cottage sits in the gardens of the owners farmhouse yet you are in complete privacy of all, on this working beef farm. Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

With a choice of vineyards, breweries, strawberry picking or walking the trails of the Riverhead Forest there is something for everyone. 15 mins drive to the beautiful black sand beach of Muriwai, famous for its gannet colony, surfing, golf course and stunning sunsets. If you want to explore or relax closer to the cottage, the beach is only 500m away.
