A great place to relax in the cool mountain air or actively enjoy all the outdoor activities in the area as you wish. We welcome all guests & well behaved pets. Our kitchen is cook ready. Additionally we have, a gas fireplace & hi-speed Wi-Fi (500 mpbs) to give you the comforts of home We provide coffee, & tea.

Near Old Fort's downtown, restaurants, shops, brewery & winery within a few blocks. Hiking & cycling trails in Pisgah National Forest are close. It has a spacious layout and an outdoor, covered porch to enjoy the seasons. Designed for two, four can be accommodated using the sofa bed. Stocked with all the amenities you'll need to enjoy your stay and maybe a few extras, including coffee from a local roaster, teas and homemade bread. If it isn't available, check Railway Rest, a mile from town.

Cabin in the Clouds is a beautiful, one bedroom vacation home in a secluded, private community that's very quiet and has been renovated in 2023. The bathroom was completely remodeled, new living room furniture, new marble top dining room table, refurbished bedroom, new floors. There's a beautiful view from our porch that has deck furniture and propane grill. Inside is an open layout with open beam ceiling and pine paneling. Black Mountain is a quaint vacation town, you will love this place.
