Great family vacation. House was beautiful and clean, had everything we needed. Location was very private with amazing views. The dirt road up the hill was a little bumpy and long but well worth the drive. Concierge service was top notch- responded to all of our questions with timely manner with great recommendations

El lugar es precioso, la casa también. Muy cuidada y espaciosa, con todas las comodidades. El área verde es genial para niños o mascotas, la piscina buenísima. Todo es tal cual las fotografías. Un poco alejado de las playas pero la casa es tan bonita que no queríamos salir mucho de todas formas.

Ecerything was very comfortable and beautiful. Super slick! Love the location easy to get to and from the adventures that uvita offers. there is a beautiful waterfall and slide rock slide rock within steps from the place. As well as easy access to others in the area. Thank you to the hosts for allowing us this beautiful property to enjoy uvita

Great place to stay with the beach really close and all type of other places that someone will need near the Airbnb with easy access.

We needed a place for our large mixed group of family and friends who were here for a wedding and this place was perfect. Ample room for everyone, safely gated, a pool to keep the kids busy and large common area for everyone to convene. There are others living nearby but they are quiet and we’re always very helpful whenever we needed. You’ll want to have a car while here so you can quickly and easily jaunt into the city centre or take a short trip to Dominical (about 35 minutes). Would happily return! Great place.

I cannot describe with words the perfect place that you have. The house was beautiful and the host amazing. We will come back!!!!

The house is very spacious and openly designed and has a lovely view from each of the three balconies. So you can see Lots of different birds such as Aras while doing your morning yoga. The A/C and ventilators functionned very well. There is an outside tap to wash your surfboards and feed after coming from the beach. You can do lots of different activities in the near surrounding. It is very easy to find following the signs Travis is sending by photographs.

Both Amy and Gary were super friendly, helpful, and you just felt like you met some really good people. The place had everything you needed. Clean as a whistle. And what an amazing view!! We will definitely be going back! Soon!!! - Mark

No podría recomendarte lo suficiente, tu atención y respuestas en todo momento hizo una experiencia muy agradable, mi familia y yo tuvimos unos días de ensueño en la casa. Llegamos muy tarde con 3 niños en la familia, cansados después de tantas horas en el auto, veníamos del norte del país. Ana y Beatriz nos esperaron y trajeron cena para toda la familia fue un gesto muy especial. La propiedad es preciosa, la cocina completa y la vista insuperable. Está muy cerca de todo: restaurantes, supermercados y hay muchas actividades por hacer.

Excelente! Mi familia y yo disfrutamos muchísimo la estadía. Tiene todo lo necesario, la ubicación es perfecta para descansar y desconectarse del ruido de la ciudad. La casa tiene buena ventilación y es fresca a pesar del calor de la zona. Definitivamente super recomendado.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour de 3 nuits. La piscine est super agréable et le logement est super propre et bien équipé.

Our family of five (kids 6–14) had an amazing stay at this peaceful jungle home near Matapalo. It felt like a wildlife sanctuary — we saw monkeys, toucans, poison dart frogs, coatis, and even a vine snake. One night we heard an owl calling from the forest. The location was ideal, tucked between Manuel Antonio, Quepos, and Uvita, giving us easy access to all three while still enjoying total seclusion. We used the pool daily to cool off after outings and hiked as a family to the private waterfall on the property — a true hidden gem. The home was clean, well-equipped, and the communication from the host was clear and helpful. Grocery shopping in Quepos was simple, and the kitchen had everything we needed. This is a true jungle stay — not a resort — so expect some bugs and night sounds, but that’s part of the charm. We’d absolutely stay here again!

La casa es preciosa, privada, limpia y equipada con todo lo necesario para pasarla cómodamente. Está en una ubicación excelente, cerca del Parque Nacional Marino Ballena, restaurantes y supermercados. Mis hijas disfrutaron muchísimo de la piscina. Gracias a Tyler y Vicky por la excelente estadía; además, agradezco mucho a Tony por ayudarnos a ubicarnos cuando nos perdimos un poco al llegar. ¡Definitivamente recomendaría este lugar!

This was our second time visiting Jim’s place. It is such a special property, surrounded by nature. Jim did an incredible job designing and landscaping his home. There are native fruit trees that surround it. Every sunset Tucans visit the property, and we were lucky enough to see Howler monkeys in the distance. This property fills our cup and we hope to return in the future. While we love visiting Domincalito and the laid back beaches, our favorite thing to do while visiting is lounge at Jim’s and take in the beautiful landscape. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Haus wirklich sehr genossen. Alles war sauber, großzügig und gut ausgestattet. Von den Terrassen aus konnte man gut Tiere beobachten und der Pool hatte eine angenehme Temperatur. Mehrfach haben wir die gut ausgestattete Küche genutzt, um zu kochen. Insgesamt können wir die Unterkunft nur empfehlen! Vielen Dank!

GORGEOUS location. The house was adorable, with very tasteful interior decor. The outside patio area and trails were lovely, and the pool looks bigger in person than it does in photos. We could have stayed in that pool all day! Although I'm not a seasoned bird watcher, the variety of birds that we saw from the pool was incredible. We chose Louie & Netty's place because of the jungle surroundings and chance to experience wildlife there, and we were not disappointed: we heard howler monkeys, saw toucans, macaws, a Montezuma Oropendola, geckos, Jesus Christ lizards, crazy big caterpillars, and lots of insane insects! (NOTE: This location is in a jungle setting so be prepared for some outside insects coming into the inside.) Our hosts were also incredibly responsive. We had a small issue with the shower drain, and it was fixed within a couple of hours. We would definitely come back again! (Also: recommend you arrive during the day so you can find the place easily, and have 4x drive!)

This was our favorite Airbnb home, by far. The location is ideal- in the forest, yet less than 15 minutes from the beach. The house was clean, well maintained, and beautiful with amazing views and landscaping. The concierge service made it incredibly easy to book unforgettable experiences. Highly recommended!!

Eddie’s place is a real gem. Incredible privacy and views, well appointed and comfortable home. The kitchen comes very well equipped and the beds are comfortable. Small details make his place extra wonderful. High quality linens, blankets, beautifully manicured garden and lawn. Henry, the groundskeeper is lovely. My children had so much fun playing hide and seek on the generous property and I loved waking up before sunrise, sitting on the deck and listening to a million birds beautifully singing through day break. My kids said they loved the home and want to come back!!

Cristina was super responsive and gave us options for a fun beach day. The house was perfect for our family of 4. Our kids loved the pool and games. The house was safe and was an easy walk to the whales tail. Beds and pillows were very comfy and there were plenty of towels for the pool, beach, and bath.

Love the place. The host helped arrange a car rental which you must have to get to the place. We used an uber a couple of times - although the uber couldn’t get all the way to the place.

Una encantadora cabaña en un predio hermoso y bien cuidado. Ideal para descansar y conectar con la naturaleza. La cocina esta super equipada por lo que no tuvimos problemas para cocinar cualquier cosa allí. Hay un supermercado a corta distancia y muchos restaurantes. Si puedes asistir a alguna de las actividades que proporciona Sharon lo recomiendo. Son en ingles lo que puede ser limitante si no dominas el idioma. Bali Rica fue la forma perfecta de terminar nuestras vacaciones en Costa Rica!

The house was 5 stars! Well equipped, beautiful views, we saw monkeys, birds, crabs. Loved the shower and bathroom windows view to the jungle. Forest was a great host and answered all of our questions.
