Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

The area offers plenty of opportunities for hunting, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, biking, and hiking. The full-sized kitchen is well equipped and offers extra touches to make your short or long stay comfortable. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for a small fee. Enjoy the beauty of nature, the peaceful woods, and perhaps even some wildlife during your visit.

"Bearly Affordable", located along the Allegheny River nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The cottage offers private river frontage for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Cottage sleeps 6 and has most of the amenities of home including air conditioning, forced air heat, wood stove, well and septic. Additional staying quarters located in an adjacent cedar Cub House which has 4 beds, 2 lofts, and air conditioning. Cub House Closed for Season. Opens back up April 1st.

Two cozy elegant living rooms. There are 2 full baths, 1st floor w/large walk in shower & 2nd floor has a bathtub/shower and a 1/2 bath off large bedroom. Plenty of towels & blankets. All essentials. There are several TV's that you can stream with the Wifi. Due to Covid-19 no more than 10 guests are allowed.
