It’s an ideal spot for a pre- or post-cruise stay, convention layover, small family getaway, romantic weekend, or a guy’s/girl’s trip. With fast WiFi and a dedicated workspace, it’s also perfect for remote work.

The house is located about 10 minutes from the beaches, the Historical Strand district and Moody Gardens. The price listed is for 1-6 guest. There will be an extra fee for extra guest if approved by us.

Our property is fully gated offering a safe environment for the kids.

We live here, which is why we only accept guests with previous favorable reviews. Crashboat Camp Bayside Apartment is on waterfront property. Relax in our well-appointed guesthouse, which has 2 bedrooms with luxurious high-quality cotton sheets and beautiful bedding (1 king & 1 queen). There is a quaint combo food-prep/sitting room with a fold-out queen couch. The shared property has a fishing pier over the water with large fishing lights.

The 1847 Powhattan House & Living History Museum

Until there is time-travel, staying in the 1847 Powhatan House may be the next best thing. This is the 3rd oldest house in Galveston and has an amazing, almost unbelievable history. This beautiful Greek Revival style home is located 3 blocks from the beach and close to the Strand. The story of the house is told in a brief documentary on YouTube entitled “The Amazing History of Galveston's 1847 Powhatan House.”
