We loved staying in the private one bedroom/one bath apartment in Janet’s home. Our stay was comfortable and easy. We had our own entrance and private patio to enjoy. Her home is at the end of the road and surrounded in trees and solitude and also only a short drive to amazing hikes. Janet is a super woman and wealth of knowledge having traveled and hiked all over the US and the world. Tap into her knowledge before you venture out on a trail. We look forward to seeing her again.

We love this place so much. This is our second time staying, and we love it more and more each time we stay. Brian is one of the best host I have ever worked with on AirBNB. He’s very responsive to messages. He’s very kind and accommodating which makes booking this place over and over so easy. The house is absolutely beautiful. It’s perfect for a cozy getaway. The bed is comfy, the shower is amazing, kitchen is fully stocked, and the back patio is the best reason to book it, along with the amazing lake views. This place will ALWAYS be our getaway place to relax and unwind. This place is truly a gem on Lake Hartwell. We will be back again soon!! We absolutely loved the location! The road to the cabin is on an incline with a real mountain-like road. The road does not have a lot of traffic and the house sits back with an amazing view. We enjoyed Kaitlyn's Christmas tree and decorations throughout the cabin. The fireplace was our favorite and we used it every night. The rustic feel of the cabin, the bear themed rugs and bedding, comfy beds and great water pressure of the shower made this space perfect for our family. We loved celebrating Christmas in such a beautiful place. The kitchen had everything we needed including a kuerig and full coffee pot, pots and pans, utensils and spices. It was nice to have available when making our Christmas dinner. Sky Valley is truly a site to see. We enjoyed scenic drives and hiking nearby. Kaitlyn was very responsive with all our questions. The locking system on the front door made it easy to get in and out of the cabin. You will love your visit. We will definitely book another trip.

Our stay was immediately after hurricane Helene. Scotty B was prepared with generators and the stay was perfectly fine.
