2400 sq ft. 2 bedroom, 2 bath, open floor plan with den, living room, kitchen and breakfast nook. Den has a sofa bed and a room divider and door for privacy (is often used as a third bedroom). Embrace the lush nature surrounding this quaint house. The residence features wood surfaces and decor, beamed ceilings, an open-plan living room, a wraparound deck, and floor-to-ceiling windows in the yoga room. Guests have access to front yard and front and back decks but are asked not wander past the back deck as it intrudes on the residents in the main house on the property. No Smoking or pets. The Large, Private House (approximately 2400 square feet) is surrounded by nature. It is on the South side of a 5 acre private property. Guests have access to the front yard of the rental which is quite large. There are two long porches in the front and back of house. The Main House is on the North side of the property with a separate driveway. There is plenty of space between the houses. The feeling although you can see other houses, is like being in the woods. To the West and West North of the guest house are two other houses - both used for quiet businesses (which require quiet and respectful neighbors). There is nature and space between all four buildings on the property. The Guest House has a separate driveway that the businesses share. The Main House has it's own driveway. The Guest house itself is very private inside and has some private outside areas on patios and in the front yard of the Guest House. There are stairs going up to the front and back door. There is an electric chair in the garage that could be used for someone that is in a wheel chair or can't go up stairs. However, once in the house, there are two stairs to go into the den (sofa bed) and two stairs to go to the other bedrooms. The area outside is rustic and almost like being in the woods (filled with succulents, Pine, Eucalyptus, Pepper, and Liquid Amber trees, and roses growing on entrance stairs to the Guest House. House is on acreage. Guests will have the whole House with full access to front yard and back porch. We do not want guests wandering around the back side of the property as that is where the Hosts live. There is plenty of space to sit on the front and back patios to enjoy the quiet and nature. The rental is limited to two cars. Will always be available if not in person, by cell phone. The property is in Rancho Santa Fe on the border of Carmel Valley. There are restaurants and stores less than two miles away, with freeways easily accessible. Walking and hiking trails across the street run along a stream and into a canyon. Buses come to the corner....of Rancho Santa Fe Farms Road and Carmel Valley Road. You can walk or ride bikes to the shopping center with a Trader Joes Market, Rite Aid, and restaurants 1.4 away. Uber, Lyft and Taxis are also available. There are also great bike and walking paths acrosd the street.
