The Bunk House

Take it easy at this unique & peaceful accommodation. Located 8 miles from West Point, 7 miles from Snyder & 6 miles from Scribner, this location offers a short drive to surrounding communities. Less than a mile away is Dead Timber State Recreation area with walking trails & lakes. The Bunk House is located on the same place the hosts live. Covered parking in shed is available. Sleeping spaces include 1 queen size bed, a couch, and a queen size air mattress if needed. Pack-n-play available.

We have built our very roomy home to resemble a barn. Having raised our 13 children here we have some empty space. Nestled at the foot of the Loess Hills, this repurposed grain bin is a sight to see. Every inch of the inside has been customized for a relaxing and luxurious experience. Conveniently located just 30 minutes from downtown Omaha, as well as within a quick drive to numerous state parks. There is even an external electrical hook up for campers. Finally, our grain bin includes 20 acres of the Loess Hills to explore. We recommend hiking to the top of the ridge for sunset. It's breath taking.

You will enjoy a comfy king sized bed, efficient work space, full kitchen with modern appliances, and a laundry room. This gem sits on its own lot and is surrounded by trees. It is conveniently located just one mile south of Blair with easy access to highway 75 and a short scenic drive into downtown Omaha.

Hilltop Hospitality House

Remodeled split-entry "Hilltop Hospitality House" was my childhood home. One hour from Omaha in the lovely Loess Hills, with beautiful lake and valley views, (sleeps ten). Three queen beds, one double bed, one sofa sleeper, full kitchen, two full baths, laundry, a spacious open floor plan for large groups, and a large deck overlooking my friendly hometown, this is a great space for groups and family gatherings. Nice studio apartment above the garage rents separately.

Built in the 1920’s the cottage underwent full renovation in 2024. It maintains it 1920’s character while offering a large kitchen, 3.5 beautiful bathrooms and a large family room with ping pong and foosball tables. Paved access to Highway 275 makes Fremont a quick 7 minute drive and West Omaha a 25 minute drive.
