Nuwara Eliya: soggiorni in alloggi che accettano animali domestici

I travelled here in a group of 5 guys. Absolute gem of a place 10min away from Kandy lake. View of the hills from this place is amazing. Will need a private vehicle to commute from here but thats not much of a drawback. Last but not the least the hosts were very sweet and charming(Hiroshans mom and dad) . They made us feel at home and treated us like own family members including providing us breakfast and dinner and also refused to accept any charges. Don’t have to say the food was delicious. This will definitely be my go to place whenever in Kandy.

What an amazing place. It’s a rustic and well-designed A frame hut. Cozy, warm (with the log-burner) and *what a view* especially from the hot tub. Yes, it’s isolated, and the last bit of the journey is a walk up a steep hill, but it’s worth it. And Dana and his team will help with your luggage. And anything else you need. It is high and you may find yourself in or above the clouds. The air is a bit thinner, and outside the room humidity is high so things might feel damp. But that’s nature ;) Big thanks to Praba too, for cooking us bespoke dinner and breakfasts, and delivering beer to the door as well. And for the tasting tour of her kitchen garden. Overall, a fantastic place to unwind, enjoy the scenery and escape city life.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und die Gastgeber sehr zuvorkommend& nett. Pubudu war sehr gut erreichbar & hat uns spontan einen Tuk Tuk Driver organisiert zur Abholung vom Bahnhof , mit dem wir dann auch die Umgebung erkundet haben! Dies würden wir auch empfehlen - Mr. Gamage war unfassbar nett, hat uns super viel gezeigt und erklärt& uns am nächsten Tag auch wieder zum Bahnhof gebracht. Würden wir jedem empfehlen, der wie wir , nur eine Nacht dort verbringt , das Angebot zu nutzen. Der Ausflug mit Mr. Gamage war für uns ein absolutes Highlight!

The most beautiful experience at this villa. Incredible views from the terrace and pool. Justin (the chef) and Nessan (the housekeeper) were incredibly attentive and couldn’t have done more for us. They were aware we were staying over the new year holiday when shops would be shut so had stocked up on alcohol and supplies! Perfect for a big group. Very remote location (45 minutes from Kandy centre) but they have a tuk tuk to take you to the closest town (5 minutes away) for any necessities. All of our meals were cooked by the chef-very reasonable and so delicious! Highly recommend this villa.

Staying at Mashita's place was a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by stunning scenery, it's the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. The tranquil ambiance truly allows you to unplug and rejuvenate your senses. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway! Hosts truly elevated our experience. They were incredibly friendly, responsive, and always went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their impeccable manners and genuine care for their guests made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It's rare to find such a gracious host, and we're grateful for their warmth and attentiveness throughout our stay.

An extremely nice house in the suburb of Nuwar Eliya, but still in easy walking distance of Victoria park. We really enjoyed the place as it's a real home where you can cook, do laundry, and relax. Beds were super comfy, and you can feel that it's really a place for living. Dr. Gopal and his stuff were always ready help with anything we needed and regularly checked to make sure we were doing alright. I'd be very happy to stay there again someday.

The apartment was as described and very clean. Upali met us on arrival and provided us with the keys and showed us the place. We asked him for a heater as it was quite cold in the apartment and he brought that along with a blanket right away. The unit is very damp - perhaps it is because of the location but it is quite noticeable. There was an elevator which we appreciated since we had luggage. Having a kitchen and a fridge was also very convenient. There is a restaurant at the first floor of the building that serves decent food as well. We walked to the main market which is about 9 minutes away. Overall excellent value for the money and great for a night or two!

Wir haben uns von der ersten Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem komfortablen, großen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus. Es liegt am Ende einer ruhigen Seitenstraße mit einem tollen Blick über das Tal und den Fluss bis zu den Bergen. Sakunthala hat uns supernett begrüßt und alles getan dafür, dass wir uns gut aufgenommen fühlten. Sie ist darüber hinaus auch eine gute Köchin die uns bestes Essen serviert hat. Auch die Hausbesitzer Aude und Ariyam, die wir später kennenlernen durften, sind sehr nett und waren immer bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so bequem wie möglich zu gestalten. Das einzige, was wir bereuen, ist, dass wir nur drei Tage gebucht hatten und dann weiterreisen mussten. Sehr gerne würden wir nochmal kommen. Vielen Dank für alles! Katharina

It was a wonderful stay. The view from the roof was excellent. Everything was clean. We enjoyed the stay. I would like to strongly recommend the place. Everything worked nicely at the end. There is a nice kitchen and four bedrooms. A man stays there and he tried his best to help us, but he cannot speak or understand English. To write an honest review I would like to mention what I don't like too. Host gave me number of Sashi,. He requested me to call him after leaving Punnawala, after reaching near Kandy and after reaching the property. I don't understand why do I need to call him so many times, when is not going to come at all. Certain things like wifi and TV in first floor was not working. Sashi told that some one name Shyam will come within few minutes. He eventually came after 5 hours after a few calls. He was of great support and solved all the minor issues. Now the caretaker and Shyam do not understand that people may need privacy. They were freely moving in the first floor.
