Elg kan komme en raskt tur innom. Ellers springer det oter og røyskatt rundt husene. I havet svømmer sel og en sjelden gang delfiner. Et ypperlig sted for å observere Nordlys - og er det vindstille speiler det seg i havet også. Tromsø sentrum- buss, ca 15 min. Sauna kan leies når du bor her- avtales senere .

Arctic Dome Hosetåsen ligger i Orkland kommune. Domen ligger på en topp med skog rundt, men med en åpen og vakker utsikt utover dalen og mot fjellene i Trollheimen.
