The house was spotless with plenty of room downstairs for us. The main bedroom was large and lovely with an ensuite shower/ toilet. The other 2 bedrooms were smaller but perfect for our needs. All beds were very comfy. The kitchen/diner was VERY well stocked with everything thing we could have needed. Lovely welcome basket with fresh bread and milk with some goodies too and a fresh bag of coffee. Lots of little thoughtful extras, like books, games, doggy items, beach towels and a fab record player! We loved sitting in the garden in the morning and evening. Hardly noticed there were neighbours as it was very peaceful despite being a residential area. We loved our stay and if back in the area would definitely stay again. Stayed for only one night to break up a long journey. Dog walk straight from the house in beautiful surroundings and good local pub for dinner. Will definitely favourite this Airbnb as we will be back!

We had a lovely stay with our dog. The house had everything we needed to be warm and comfortable. It is in a great location for walking into Seahouses, either on the costal path or on the road. Or walking the opposite way to Annstead beach and beyond. We will definitely book again for our next visit.

We had a very relaxing stay in this well proportioned property. The outlook was beautiful and the inside was exceptionally well maintained, with lots of amenities. The power shower was great and the conservatory and patio brought the outside in, as we had exceptionally good weather for the duration of our stay. The location was perfect for exploring Bamburgh, Seahouses, Alnwick, Amble and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Thank you to Ian and Sharon who made us feel very welcome and a scruffle for Willow.

Lovely little cottage with everything you need! Very responsive hosts! Hot tub is a great addition to the house. Nice restaurants in easy walking distance. Don’t hesitate to book! We will hopefully be able to return!

What a lovely gem of a house, we had a great comfortable stay. Great location, close to the beach, bars and restaurants.

The house was easy to find and as described. On arrival the house was clean and tidy, and the welcome pack most acceptable. The host was very helpful, and easily contacted. The 1 very minor problem we had was sorted very quickly. We would certainly recommend the property and would have no hesitation in using the property again.

The location is really good, close to Jesmond but in a more quiet residential part. The property was nice, self-contained with a cozy mezzanine level. The bed was comfy, and we didn't find the low roof too cramped. There was always parking outside. The street always had spaces up on the kerb (NB: the spaces required you to sometimes hump the car up the full kerb rather than a dropped kerb).

We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the lovely welcome basket and essentials in the fridge. The cottage was perfect, very comfortable beds, and the facilities amazing- loved the pool, spa and outdoor areas. We’d love to come back.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a great week at Haggerston Castle. The lodge itself was in a superb location, a short walk from the main facilities. It was private, quiet and spacious inside. We would definitely book again!

We had such a lovely stay at the cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and well put together. The free spa access was a nice bonus, especially after a long day out. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

Wow! We had a fantastic stay here. The house is really well thought out. The rooms are all great sizes. The secure garden is huge and perfect for the dog to run around in either the kids. I loved the little stream running past the front of the house. It was really clean and had everything we could possibly need. Sarah and Scott were really kind and very helpful when we couldn’t get the hot water to work fixing it really quickly. It really is the perfect place to get away from it all. I hope we will be back again soon.

Just wow! We’ve just got back from a simply amazing stay at Pam & Richard’s beautiful cottage. Some highlights for us were: 1) the little touches from treats for the dog to home baking, we felt so well looked after 2) the beautiful surroundings, it was so peaceful, no photos can really do it justice 3) the cottage itself, the beds were so comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless and it had everything you need. Pam and Richard were just lovely, and whilst they’re just next door, they didn’t impose at all, we had some brilliant recommendations for walks and food. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you both! x

Diane was lovely, so helpful from showing us around to the very detailed instructions on all the facilities. Always on hand if needed and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is comfy and has everything you need. Loved the finishing touches and welcome pack which included dog treats. The beach, coastal trails and country park are a short walk away making it a perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Can’t wait to return

Sarka’s cottage is a lovely place to explore the Northumberland coastline from. It was spotlessly clean and has been tastefully renovated throughout. The kitchen is also well equipped and made cooking easy. The courtyard at the front with climbing roses and clematis is a lovely sun trap in the afternoons! Communication with Sarka was great, she is very response and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Hideaway! The location was perfect, and the cottage had everything we could possibly need. It was a bit more compact than we had pictured, but so thoughtfully laid out that it still felt cosy and comfortable. Packing and unloading weren’t entirely straightforward, but the option to park for free in the main car park or down by the river was a real plus, both were very convenient. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful riverside walks leading to the castle or the beach. The local pubs are delightfully dog-friendly, and everyone we met was so kind and welcoming. A big thank you to our host, Elaine, who was incredibly responsive and helpful, it made our stay all the more enjoyable. We're truly grateful for such a lovely experience!
