After being a host in Oslo since 2011, I have renovated this cabin far up north where I was born, and my family still live. With loads of Scandinavian design objects, it also comes equipt with everything you might need or didn't know you needed to make your stay epic! 2 bikes, 2 fishing rods and fancy coffee gear is also free for you to use. The location is in the middle of the local village, and the view and space are spectacular. Enjoy the midnight sun and northern lights in this modern cabin.

Denne vakre hytten ligger på et fantastisk sted hvis du søker fred og ro, den ligger naturskjønt til med en vakker utsikt. Hytten ligger skjermet fra gården og langs Signaldalselven, der det går en tursti på 3 km som starter fra hytten. Northern lights rett utenfor hytta. kort vei til høyfjellet for ski/isklatring/ toppturer/fotturer/jakt og Nordlys opplevelser. Området hytten ligger på er et kjent sted for nordlysturister og man kan ta fine bilder av nordlyset med Otertinden i bakgrunnen.

Ny hytte med midnattsol som ligger helt ved strandkanten på SørSenja. Flott plassering for å se nordlyset utover sjøen i retning Andøya. Ny Jokerbutikk i nærområdet, flere turløyper, kveitemuseum, nasjonalpark, innlands- og sjøfiske, utleie av båt i nærheten. 2 timer med bil fra Bardufoss flyplass. 1 time kjøring til Finnsnes. 1 time med hurtigbåt til Harstad. 3 madrasser oppe på hemsen i tillegg til de to soverommene. Det kan nesten ikke beskrives - det må oppleves. Du bor på yttersida av eventyrøya Senja. Du kommer ikke nærmere naturen - med en glassfasade på nærmere 30 kvm har du følelsen av å sitte ute mens du sitter inne. Om det er midtnattsol eller nordlys - det blir aldri kjedelig å se på havet, fjellene og dyrelivet langs Bergsfjorden. Hytta var ferdig høsten 2018 og har høy standard.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
