This is a peaceful, remote position, and we treasure the space, nature and peace we’re surrounded by - and hope you will too. The Shack has been built, fitted and furnished using up-cycled, re-cycled, reclaimed, new, old, vintage, shabby, retro, re-purposed or anything different or quirky. We’re constantly adding to it. No telly. Limited WiFi. Time out, guaranteed.

An excellent touring base, located near Hadrian’s Wall, Roman forts, Hexham Abbey, and Kielder Water and Forest Park.

Borensberg (5 min med bil, 10 min med cykel) erbjuder badplatser, minigolfbanor, caféer, restauranger, matbutiker, inredningsbutiker, bra kommunala färdmedel och apotek. Vid er ankomst välkomnar vi er och går igenom allt praktiskt som medför ett offgridboende. Välkomna!

L'appartamento è dotato di zona living con angolo cottura, una camera da letto con letto matrimoniale, due divani e un bagno privato. Il B&B è situato in cima ad una collina, lontano dal rumore del traffico e delle città. Perfetto per stare in relax e godersi una rilassante vacanza. La colazione, compresa nel prezzo, viene servita ogni mattina nella veranda porticata.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.
