Northeastern United States: soggiorni in cottage

This was our third time staying with Sondra. Very cozy, has everything you need for a little getaway. Love the hot tub, and the sound of the creek is just so peaceful. Thanks again for another memorable trip.

My sister did a last min booking an hour before we arrived and Jess was super accommodating! everything was lovely and it was exactly what we needed for a little wellness getaway! we even extended our stay another night because we were soo relaxed and happy with the place and location! I highly reccomend staying here.

Very nice stay. Quiet private and peaceful. We enjoyed ourselves very much. The place was very clean and we especially enjoyed the deck, fire pit and hot tub. We would definitely stay again.

We spent 4 nights to do some ice fishing. We had 9 people in total and had more than enough room. Everything was spotless and as described in the listing. As a bonus, we had a very successful fishing trip! The property looks like it would be fabulous in the summer as well.

My husband and I stayed here for a much-needed night away and it was everything we hoped for. The cabin is absolutely beautiful! Warm, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we could have needed. We especially loved the hot tub and sauna, which made it feel like a private spa. The scenery is stunning and the river view was the highlight! So peaceful! We left feeling recharged and already can't wait to come back. Thank you!

We would definitely recommend Deb’s and Sharon’s cottage as a place to stay. The location is great, as it is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the water, but is tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood so it still also offers plenty of privacy. They were wonderful and responsive hosts and checked on us throughout our stay, though we didn’t end up needing a thing. They were gracious enough to allow our dog Bella join for the weekend too, which we appreciated very much as she goes everywhere with us. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely look to book again if we make our way back to the beautiful island!

The cabin was so cute and comfortable, clean and all instructions clearly posted or in a file binder. We had fun touring the area and had great sleeps. We’ll try to get back there again this year!

Loved our stay at Lulu’s cozy, quaint and welcoming cottage! Lulu was very proactive with detailed check in instructions and was accessible during our stay. The cottage is tucked away, peaceful and had lovely views. We shopped and at dinner in Woodstock which is a wonderful area.

This was a great place to stay and was exactly what we expected. The house is set in a residential neighborhood, but felt private. Definitely have to drive to get to the beaches, but it was not far (maybe 10 minutes, more during the busy season, I'm sure). Everything was clean. Check in was simple and easy. They do not bug you, and since everything was simple, I had no reason to contact them. Dog friendly, but so clean you wouldn't know. Fenced in back yard was perfect for your dog. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating area - although, 7 adults might be pretty cramped. Maybe 2 families max. Will definitely stay here again.

Cottage was well stocked and within easy walking distance to the beach. Appreciate that they are dog friendly! Very cute cottage - would definitely stay again!

Debra and Mike were great hosts and have created a very warm, inviting and comfortable place for those seeking to explore the Catskills. It's a home away from home! There's a grill available which we made great use of, a fire pit to enjoy nature and star gazing, and their two dogs Luna and Roxy are extremely friendly. Highly recommend their place!

Great place in a beautiful location! Perfect for our two families to get together and enjoy the outdoors in winter. The kitchen is well-supplied and it’s great to have towels and sheets provided. Carrie is friendly, flexible and well organized. Thanks so much!

Great place! We loved having access to the bikes and being able to ride to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. The house is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood. Olivia was very helpful and responded quickly to our questions. It was cute, cozy, and just right for two people, perfect for our weekend getaway.

We booked under the general listing (Having not realized that there were more specific ones) so Dan was kind enough to choose a cottage based on what he believed would be appropriate for the temperatures and time of year. And when we met down in the driveway upon arrival, he was immediately very friendly and we had a great conversation, and he directed us up to our cabin which was an excellent choice, beautiful view of the lake, nice amount of shade, beautiful inside (looked like it had recently had some updates as well), very clean, and very well-appointed - full amenities, very comfortable space…more like a home than a cottage. Had a lovely conversation with Pam while we were checking out. We greatly enjoyed our experience and hope to return next year!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans le chalet de Dan. La communication avec lui a été rapide et agréable — il s’est montré très arrangeant et nous a donné d’excellents conseils. Le chalet est parfaitement équipé : la cuisine contient tout le nécessaire, et nous avons particulièrement apprécié la machine à espresso. La salle de bain est bien aménagée, et les lits sont très confortables. Le salon, lumineux et chaleureux, est un endroit idéal pour lire ou se détendre. Le chalet est impeccable, bien situé, et offre une ambiance paisible. Les enfants ont adoré le pédalo, et nous avons aussi beaucoup profité du feu sur le deck en écoutant de la musique. Laura e Karen são ótimos anfritriões. Super educados, simpáticas, respondiam com muita rapidez e super flexíveis. A casa é espetacular, linda, com muitos detalhes, é extremamente limpa e agradável. São exatamente como nas fotos. Eu e minha família adoramos estar na casa da Laura e Karen e voltarei com toda certeza. Recomendo muito o espaço da Laura e Karen. Alan & Rosalie’s cottage was everything we could have asked for and more ! It was a perfect place to just relax and recharge after a busy fall and Christmas season. We wanted for nothing, it had everything we needed. Alan met us when we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. My wife and I and our two dogs had a wonderful experience. We will most definitely be doing a return visit. If you are looking for a place to getaway and relax this is the place, highly recommend it ! Thank you Alan & Rosalie !

My friends and I stayed at Hong's place October 2024. We've stayed there before and had a great time, and this time was no different. Even before checking in Hong made sure all questions were answered and gave us a guide to the place and the area. The check in experience was seamless and accommodating, and the cottage was cleaned very well. The cottage itself is so warm and cozy, and the surrounding area is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

Lori was a very responsive and accommodative host. The place was much larger than what the pictures shows. Lots to do on the water with kayaks and canoe that were provided.
