This place was perfect for my family’s first trip to Washington DC. If you need a place in a great area and convenient to transportation, food, attractions, this is your spot. Crystal was a great host! She quickly responded to any questions, made awesome recommendations and made the entire process very easy.

This is by far the best Airbnb I’ve *ever* stayed in. The space was spotless, stylish, and super comfortable. The bedroom is a converted garage—which we’d seen in the photos and were initially unsure about—but it ended up being one of my favorite parts. The frosted windows let in beautiful natural light during the day, and at night, the glow of the streetlights and tree shadows made it feel peaceful. The bed was incredibly comfy, and honestly, I got the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. The bathroom had heated floors, and a spacious shower that absolutely lived up to my (admittedly high) standards. I’m a big fan of large showers, and this one did not disappoint. Synta was an amazing host: thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly kind. She was also super accommodating about our late check-in after a concert, which we really appreciated. Everything was seamless, and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for the fantastic experience!!

Great place to stay for a D.C. trip. We walked to the Metro each morning and took that downtown. It was about a 15 minute walk and is great if you’re fine with that. It’s tucked away nicely and feels like a safe area too. Overall a great stay.

My parents came to Maryland for the first time to visit us and spend time with their granddaughter and they were so happy in Melissa’s place! They had everything they needed to have a comfortable and restful stay. You would barely know this is a basement unit with its spaciousness, kitchen area, living room and even sunlight through the bedroom window. Everything was immaculately clean, the bed was comfortable, and they’re within walking distance to a beautiful park. The only challenge they encountered was the step into the bathroom but we knew about that in advance thanks to Melissa’s proactive communication and transparency. Melissa was so responsive and it was a relief to me to know my parents were in a safe, clean and lovely place within walking distance of us. Now they’re excited to visit us again and stay in Melissa’s place!

Nice place, good for a couple, a residential area of DC east of the Capital, very walkable and quiet. Comfortable bed, good water pressure, and noise from host upstairs very intermittent and not a problem. Would stay again.

I really enjoyed staying here. It is a peaceful place that is located in a lovely area. I felt perfectly safe staying there on my own. I found it very easy to get to Georgetown or Dupont Circle using Lime bikes and scooters, which were always available nearby. The apartment stayed very cool on hot summer days, and I didn’t even need to use the AC most days. The hosts are very kind, considerate, helpful, and available. I would definitely stay here again!

Evans place was just terrific for our needs. It was clean and bright. The kitchen was roomy and well stocked. The bathroom was clean, well lit, equipped with switch for extra warm air, and the shower had great pressure. The sheets and bedding were pretty and soft. The outside lighting was good, and the area felt safe. Evans was helpful, responsive and friendly. We will definitely come back again. Thanks Evans!

Great place to stay! Nice neighborhoods. The place is 15-20 min walk of metro and Capitol. Whole Foods was close - about 3 blocks. We were here about a week and walked/used the metro everywhere we wanted to go in DC. We would stay here again if we ever come back to DC. The host was great and really responsive! Parking: The ParkDC website was not hard to navigate and the host gives excellent directions. We had a rental car the last two days, but you cannot print the parking pass until you have the make/model/license plate number. We were not able to connect our phone to the printer in the house to print the street parking pass, but CVS Pharmacy is about two blocks away and we printed it there for $0.29!

I would definitely choose to stay here again if the opportunity arises. I really enjoyed it and it was extremely convenient. To help make your stay enjoyable as well, please read the description and communicate with the host to ask any questions. Know that there is no blackout blind in the bedroom. Also there is a mechanical or maybe water sound that has a low, constant drone near the bedroom. At the time of my stay, the young person of the house seemed to be up around 7:30ish and down at night around 7ish. Be prepared to get your feet wet if dew or rain as you have to walk through grass to get to the back of the house. Hope this helps.

Nice linens, super comfy bed, great appliances, really clean -- we really just used Edward's place as a base but it'l really well located and it was perfect for our purposes. Would absolutely stay here again -- it's just perfect!!!!

Overall the place was great! Just like the photos, felt secure, neighborhood was good. Able to walk around with my kids. We would definitely stay again.

My stay here was great and comfortable. Yohanes was extremely accommodating. The upstairs unit shared hvac w. Basement unit and the guest didn’t like that I had it toasty so Yohanes brought by a space heater to keep both places comfortable. Parking was good too & he made sure we had a permit.

Was a great stay to say the least, very quiet and relaxing also very clean. Would come back in a heart beat!

Serena was a great host! She was friendly, responsive, and checked in to make sure everything was going well. Her place match the listing and she thought of great amenities and accommodation to provide in her place for visitors. The Metro was also only a 5-10 minute walk from Serena’s place.

Communication, attention to detail with respect to instructions, cleanliness, apartment layout, spaciousness: couldn't ask for more. This basement apartment has lots of nice window light. Windows open easily if that's desired. Full kitchen. Washer and drier. Great place for a couple with up to two small children (bunk beds). This area long MacArthur Boulevard, the C&O Canal, and the Potomac River is one of my favorites in the DC metro area. Lots of good restaurants and stores within a short drive. The magnificent Glen Echo Park is right at the bottom of the hill. Met Jason. Very pleasant and helpful. Shu's thoughtful touches are everywhere. Like this one: "Let go of it." Highly recommend.

Great location, close to airport and super close to Old town Alexandria. We really enjoyed our stay!

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon. We could not have asked or wished for a better place to stay in spite of the limited funds we had for a bigger out of the country vacation for our honeymoon. Tebebe was very friendly and his family welcomed us with wine and chocolates; very nice gesture to grant us for our occasion. The whole space was rich in design, very comfortable, and the beds were so soft and comfortable we had the best sleep we had for a while. The entertainment system in the living room was top tier, we didn’t even have to go to the movie theater, we enjoyed movie theater quality sound in the comfort of the guest house. Tebebe designed the home very nice with beautiful paintings hung up throughout the property. My only drawback will be that the shower door does not close all the way shut. Aside from that, everything was amazing. We will definitely visit here again when we vacation in Maryland.

The apartment was exactly as described, very clean and just right for our visit. The directions to get in were very clear. We arrived pretty late at night and, even so it was relatively easy to find street parking. The two bedrooms are relatively small but that is what we would expect in a major city and we didn’t need more than a place to sleep. The street is lined with sweet houses and around the corner from a few places to eat. David was a great communicator and very quick to respond. We would definitely return for another stay.

I live in DC and my family came into town to visit me. Linda’s place was perfect since it was block away from my place. I highly recommend her place if you are visiting or wanting to have family over but don’t have to space. It’s a great starting point if you are wanting to stay in a peaceful neighborhood, but close enough to get to the monuments and enjoy DC.

This is definitely the nicest Airbnb that I've stayed at in a long time! I really liked the space, it was really comfortable and felt like the sort of place that someone might actually live in comfortably, rather than a place that was always just intended for short-term stays. I really appreciated that. Everything was super clean and the kitchen was awesome--it had lots of counter space and everything I needed to make dinner with no trouble. And the hosts were very responsive and friendly! I'd definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.

We stayed at Leonardo’s place while touring colleges in DC. It’s a beautiful, very clean apartment in excellent neighborhood, walkable to Georgetown. Being able to park on a driveway was a huge plus, given the parking rules in DC. Leonardo’s apartment has everything you may need and then some. I would absolutely stay there again!

This place was great! A short walk from Potomac Ave metro station and a grocery store down the block was ideal! Noise transference from upstairs is a thing, but earplugs were provided which helped a lot. The neighbourhood was very quaint and I felt safe walking it at night. Would stay here again!

I had a pleasant stay at Laura’s place. The apartment matched the descriptions and photos accurately. Do note that the hosts live upstairs, so there can be occasional creaking noises, though it is quiet at night. The space was a bit compact for me, particularly the bathroom — something to keep in mind if you’re tall. The neighborhood was okay, but I personally wouldn’t feel entirely comfortable there as a solo female traveler. Overall, the place just wasn’t quite the right fit for me, but it could work well for others depending on their needs.
