Wool Hut, is a beautiful, traditional Shepherd's Hut, located in the middle of nowhere but close to everywhere! Situated on our working farm on the edge of the village of Thixendale, the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, surrounded by stunning landscapes in a peaceful, rural setting. Visit the wonderful market town of Malton, or historic York as well as some beautiful country houses, or simply rest and relax. There is an abundance of food producers and restaurants in the locality for you to explore.

Honeysuckle Shepherd’s Hut w/ Hot Tub and T/court

Off Grid shepherd’s hut with a wood fired hot tub and tennis court in the picturesque village of Potto, near Swainby. The perfect weekend getaway for 2 with stunning views of the North Yorks moors and a wood burner. This hut is cosy, warm and comfortable. The shepherd’s hut has a hot shower, working gas stove and a mini fridge. There’s a separate private composting loo. And during the summer you may use the tennis court just a short walk through the orchard. There is no electricity in the hut.

Come and stay in our beautifully finished, tin shepherds hut at the bottom of our garden. We are located in the rolling countryside with extensive views over the vale of York. After a day of exploring this AONB, there’s nothing like cooking tea over the fire pit or wood pellet pizza oven followed by a dip under the stars in our rustic hot tub. Your shepherd's hut is set in the enclosed, inner courtyard of the C14th castle ruins, your own private space. Atmospheric and perfect for relaxing, enjoying a quiet drink in the evening in front of the fire pit & gazing at a starry sky or the impressive ruins. We have 3 other stays, for couples, around the castle available if you would like to visit with friends. No WiFi.

A cosy shepherds hut on a working hill farm, in the beautiful North York Moors National Park. Simply sit, relax, watch the birds and admire the view or explore the surrounding area. Walk from the hut or one of the local famous walks such as Cleveland Way, Wainstones, Roseberry Topping. Helmsley and Stokesley are lovely little market towns to explore or Whitby and York both within an hours drive. We only have one hut, so there is no sharing of facilities and the area is very private.

Soak under the stars in the outdoor bath or toast marshmallows by the fire pit. Inside, there’s a comfy double bed, log burner (starter logs included), bathroom, kitchen & seating. Off-grid but with a plumbed shower! No mains electric; solar only. A cool box is provided instead of a fridge, plus fluffy dressing gowns & towels for extra comfort.

Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 3 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.
