Oak Framed Home with Countryside Views

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury cabin nestled in a quiet hamlet. Find tranquility on the terrace surrounded by breathtaking views, or lounge amid thoughtful decor and chic modern finishes in the exposed oak beam interior. Blue Vale is brand new as of June 2018! We helped to design this green oak framed building and have been involved in the whole process of building it, doing much of it ourselves. For our colour scheme we have used different shades of blue throughout, playing on the name of Blue Vale. The furnishing and finishing touches are of a high standard to help promote a comfortable and luxurious finish. There is an eclectic style combining modern country with industrial finishes. Luxury, high thread cotton bedding and towels, large flat screen smart tv's and luxury Neals Yard toiletries help to give the top-end finishing touches we would appreciate if we stayed away from home. Blue Vale is completely self contained but sits in the grounds of our family home. The decked outdoor living space is screened by trellis on the garden side with fields on the other. You would be very welcome to walk around our garden. We can be as interactive as you wish. With living in the same grounds we are close at hand if needed. We will welcome you when you arrive but will be respectful of your privacy. The glorious Blackmore Vale landscape is a tapestry of farmed green fields with a sprinkling of English villages, of which Sandley is one. Walk out (or cycle, using our available bikes) onto country lanes and venture along a web of footpaths to discover this unspoilt part of Dorset. Visit Stourhead, stroll around the ancient towns of Sherborne or Shaftesbury or discover the beautiful Jurassic coast. Visit Longleat safari park, Haynes Motor Museum, Monkey world & Yeovilton Air Museum. Sandley is a quiet hamlet with the neighbouring village of Buckhorn Weston just a mile away. The Stapleton Arms pub can be found here. We are 10 minutes away from the towns of Gillingham and Wincanton where various supermarkets, shops and services are. There is a train station in Gillingham which has a direct route to London in less than 2 hours. The larger cities of Bath and Salisbury are less than an hours drive and it takes around an hour to drive to the beautiful Jurassic coastline. The historic towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are only 15 and 20 minutes away respectively. The quiet rural roads and bridleways of the Blackmore Vale are excellent for cycling and walking. Blue Vale is in the grounds of our family home. There is a one- bedroomed B&B facility on the ground floor of our home.

The Garden Hideaway Hot Tub Retreat offers a bespoke cedar cabin with private hot tub. Perfect for cosy winter stays. The cabin, situated in its own private garden, is a short stroll from the pretty Georgian town of Blandford Forum. The town offers a range of restaurants, pubs, independent shops, nature reserve and Dorset Trail Way. A selection of take-aways deliver directly to the gate. The space will suit both individuals & couples looking for a quiet space in which to relax and unwind.

Stunning wooden lodge in Purbeck Countryside

A perfect escape from the crowds. This newly built cabin nestles in the Purbeck countryside in the grounds of a Victorian cottage. Sit on your secluded decking and watch the steam trains roll by whilst enjoying relaxing drinks and a bbq. On colder days huddle up on the sofa in front of the logburner or wrap up for some glorious local walks. The historic villages of Corfe Castle, Worth Matravers and Kingston are within walking distance of around 30/45 minutes, with lovely pubs at the end!

The Garden Retreat with Hot Tub

Located on the outskirts of Bournemouth and Poole and within reach of the New Forest, the Garden Retreat is a self contained 1 bedroom lodge with private courtyard and hot tub. The Garden Retreat is 2 mins walk from a local pub/restaurant. Bournemouth’s award winning sandy beaches are about 15 minutes away by car. Lodge features air conditioning, remote controlled blinds, hot tub with mood lighting and wi-fi speakers, outdoor dining area, fridge, combi oven, coffee machine and sofa bed.

This is a comfortable place to relax and escape, and an ideal base to explore famous local surroundings such as Lyme Regis and Glastonbury which are within easy driving distance. Lots of great dog walking areas and amazing wildlife. Fantastic village pub within walking distance. Please note we allow ONE dog only.

Unfortunately, it isn’t suitable for children under 5 or large/active dogs (see House Rules).

Piilopirtti - a traditional Finnish log cabin

Spend your days in a traditional Finnish log cabin with a grass roof. Step outside and be enveloped by rhododendrons and enjoy sitting in front of a fire pit or a BBQ amongst trees and nature. The main room is for sleeping and living with a super-king size bed, table, TV, 2 easy chairs. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Cabin is not fenced in. Adjacent to Ringwood Forest where you will find a cycle trail, Moors Valley Country Park, a golf course and a lake.

The Cabin is an ideal location for multiple wedding venues, surrounded by incredible countryside to explore or and in a lovely location to getaway and reset. Planted in the beautiful, rural countryside of Wiltshire, this bespoke cabin offers all the necessities for a stunning and peaceful escape for up to two people. The design of this Cabin, hosting and location ensures a high spec and comfortable visit to the Wiltshire/Dorset border.

The Haven

Set in a stunning rural location, surrounded by woodland and fields located near to Cranborne & Alderholt with easy access to New Forest National Park, Cranborne Chase and of course the fabulous Dorset coastline. The Haven offers Light and airy accommodation, has its own private entrance and consists of 2 Bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), 1 bathroom with shower and toilet, a spacious living area , with open plan Kitchen.

The Boat House, Shaftesbury

A beautiful 2 bedroom wooden cabin set on a working farm, a short walk from the picturesque village of Shaftesbury, Dorsett. The Boat House is set in acres of rolling Dorset countryside looking out onto one of the number of lakes on the farm. The Boat house is dog friendly and sleeps up to 4 adults and 2 children.
