Comfortable and convenient stay in Huntsville! Patricia was a saviour this past weekend, since our initial accommodation had to cancel due to the lack of power in their area. She was excellent with communication and provided us tips to enjoy our stay! The driveway and extra driveway up the hill accommodates to up to 3 - 4 vehicles. The wooden living room was so inviting and provided a very warm welcome. Kitchen was stocked with various dishes, pots, pans, oils, and some spices. The owners left a great booklet to review. The dining table was perfect for the 6 of us, but could easily sit up 10 people. Main floor bathroom provides a shower and a spacious sauna which we were all able to enjoy. The chalet was perfect for 6 people with 3 double/queen sized beds, a futon, a single with the bunk bed on the second floor. The family room on the second floor was a pleasant surprise and was spacious. 2nd bathroom provided a blow dryer and another bath tub. Highly recommend this property!

This was one of the most beautiful homes we’ve stayed in! It was gorgeous both inside and out. We stopped at a store on the way there because we forgot a few things, only to realize when we got there we didn’t have to; this home had everything you could think of needing! Fully stocked and prepared! We were so appreciative of the hosts attention to detail and the thought they put in to making their guests feel at home. We will definitely be coming back!🤗

Absolutely magical experience at the tree house – a true hidden gem that totally exceeded all expectations! Even in mid-April, when the trees are still bare, the place looked stunning with its rustic charm and cozy vibes. I can only imagine how breathtaking it must be in the lush summer or colorful fall season. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, creating a perfect blend of comfort and connection to nature. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to unwind, especially nature lovers and romantics at heart. Five stars without a doubt!

Second stay for our family and we were not disappointed. Lovely place for some R&R and easy access to town to explore. Thanks again!

This cottage is absolutely beautiful, it's what cottage dreams are made of, and Davinia & her family put in so much love to make you feel comfortable and special. Our family felt totally entertained, we slept well, we shared laughs and made memories here that will last a lifetime. We don't get to spend long stretches of time together like this, and this space easily accommodated each of us and gave us adequate privacy we each had privacy and felt happy with the sleeping arrangements. It was so lovely to have fires every day, the hot tub was incredible, and the cottage itself has a rustic yet modern vibe to it. The drive down from Toronto was also very easy. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay here, thank you Davinia & family for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home, we loved it!

We had a wonderful fall getaway at the cottage, it has a very cozy feel with all the books and fireplace. Fully equipped all season as advertised and amazingly comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting outside as well enjoying the sun and lake. Lauren was amazing, communicating everything we needed and helping us out when we needed to figure out the wifi. A bonus for this cottage is the location, you definitely have privacy and seclusion at the cottage but also close to town. We enjoyed hiking in the area, everyone is super friendly, make sure to stop by scoops n more for ice-cream, cake, pies and deli. There is a distillery and brewery in town as well. We are looking forward to staying there again :)

Another great stay at Porter Lake! Fresh cold air, great times in front of the fire, 8 deer and a moose to top it off. Always enjoy our time.

Such a quaint little cabin. It’s perfect for a peaceful, winter get away. This is the second time we stayed here! My wife and I are avid anglers. A short walk out on the ice and we were in 60ft of water! We’re hoping to come back in the summer sometime with our boat. Neetu is a gracious host who offers a great place for couples to retreat to in such a beautiful, lakeside area!
