We spent a lovely month at the One Bedroom Pool Villa. We used this as a base for exploring the region with our hire car. The villa was comfortable and clean, with a kitchenette in the property itself with microwave, fridge, kettle and electric grill. Plus another kitchen for us only, a few steps away, with gas hobs. Essential pots, pans and utensils supplied. The washing machine on site was very useful and worked well. The TV is modern, the superking bed is comfy, usual Thai hardness but we like that. Shower is acceptable but not super powerful. Pool is a welcome addition when the weather is hot, and we spent quite a few half days relaxing by it. Wifi works very well. Quiet and peaceful location. Phen is a 10 minute drive away with lots of restaurant/shacks, many shops, a supermarket a few 711s, markets, a hospital, pharmacies etc The local market on Tuesday and Saturday was fun. Excellent accomodation and fantastic host! The accomodation is comfortable with bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchenette. Set in a beautiful peaceful garden, lots of places to sit and relax outside. We were happy that our host Nick was so proactive, picking us up from the train station, giving us a tour of the local area, providing us with bikes to use, taking us to the center and helping us print out our Laos evisa to cross the border! The local area was great with good nearby restaurants, cafes and shops. People were very friendly and it had a nice atmosphere!

The property was perfectly clean, spatious and had everything we needed very well equipped. The host was very friendly and helpful i would recommend to anyone.

Great communication from Charles. Halfway between Udon Thani and Nong Khai. I would recommend having a car or motorbike, but some are available for rent if needed. Nice shared kitchen. It is quite close to the main road, so there is noise, but still great value. Would stay again.
