Ninth Ward: soggiorni in hotel

Our favorite part was the bathroom, it was so luxurious! I’m not sure if it was just the time of year, but it was the end of January and there were gorgeous lights in the trees outside of our bay window and it really set the experience over the top. I’m a photographer and I booked this location for a session but took advantage of the opportunity to have a little getaway with my mom & baby once my client left. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch, taking a long soak in the claw foot tub, and I walked only 1 minute away to mama d’s pizza for take out. When we turned the tv on, we loved how it was already on a fireplace channel. Another small touch we appreciated were the Andy’s chocolate mints on the night stands. The host was very great at communicating and the neighborhood was wonderful! It’s so close to so many great locations that you can easily walk to. The book of recommendations was great! The next morning we drove out to Fontainebleau state park on the way home.

We were in town for a wedding and this was a great place to stay. The host was very accommodating and kind to help us with our needs. It was all as described, and would be great for a return trip for a girls’ getaway!

The Abita Springs Hotel is a beautiful place to stay. The area is peaceful and quiet, the bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. The room looked exactly like the pictures. I would definitely recommend and absolutely stay again.

We were in town for the New Orleans Poetry Festival—(Check it out! Happens every year!) which just so happened to line up with French Quarter Fest. PERFECT spot for walking to French Quarter / the awesomeness of the neighborhood in general—legit a 6-7 minute walk to the local food co-op / arts zone / yoga / healthiness that is the New Orleans Healing Center. (I’d highly recommend checking it out!) Very clean :) Very quiet as well! Despite being in such close proximity to the busy-ness outside! I was impressed. Beautiful garden—with amazing spots to swing and chat and hang. Hosts were very accommodating/kind in terms of our schedule! Absolutely plan on staying again! Notes: Parking def a bit tricky. Might’ve been cuz we were coming in during Festival weekend? If you’re coming in at evening—be prepared to hunt for a spot. Also, the hot tub was not working the entire weekend 😞 We’re poets. We get that stuff breaks hah! Merci beaucoup—much gratitude to the hosts for sharing space ?

Beautiful area and great hotel! We walked and biked during our stay, and everything was extremely easy to access. We appreciated the first-come, first-serve bikes the hotel provided, as we had to leave one of our bikes at home for the trip! Thanks for the wonderful stay ☺️

Great place

The area had a serene charm, with everything within walking distance. I loved the convenience of the electric kettle for making tea or coffee. The soft daybed became my cozy retreat after a day of exploring. I would definitely love to return.

This place was absolutely amazing. Hosts were great, and I had an amazing time Super Bowl week. Highly recommend!

We loved the space and the location! Lots of room and comfort and we especially liked the art work. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but it looked clean and well maintained. Mark, behind the desk was friendly and helpful. Only complaint is that the AC was not working so we were quite hot and we didn't address it only Easter Sunday so it was impossible to get fixed. If we had said something the first day I bet they would have been able to address it. I would stay here again!

Great clean space! Close to everything!! The host are so responsive, helpful, friendly. For example there was road construction and made it a little difficult to find I expressed that on the app and they called and got us there and helped us/stayed on phone until we were in our room! Most definitely will stay here again in December! Thank you!

Exceeded my expectations. Private, quiet, safe stay. Located on the less rowdy side of the blocks. It’s really a hidden gem. The location is walkable to all nearby activities no rental car or Lyfts needed. I spent my last hours in the hot tub all night. Will book again.

My wife and I decided this is our place for every trip to New Orleans going forward! Great service, care and location! My wife had a recent hip replacement and they showed care on what floor and how to make it comfortable for her. Everyone was friendly. The location was the best I’ve experienced being a block away from Bourbon! I have only positives!

My party and myself really enjoyed ourselves. I love how the hotel is close to Bourbon street but not in the mix of the traffic. We really enjoyed our time in NOLA and we would stay here again.

We loved staying here! It far exceeded our expectations. Perfect location, in the center of it all, and it was so cute! We loved the traditional European vibe, the open courtyard and the ability to jump in the pool and hot tub after a day of exploring. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Memoir for Jazz Fest with our 7 month old puppy. We loved our stay and will stay again. The decor, location and building itself was amazing. This is in the warehouse district, closer to the convention center and WWII museum. Therefore, you are further away but still very walkable to the French Quarter. The vibe is more local professionals and less touristy which we prefer. It’s within 2 blocks of multiple restaurants and art galleries. We parked in the lot across the street and didn’t move the car for three days. It was $47 total for the 3 days. The lobby is exceptionally well done as is the rooftop bar/pool. Very retro-chic vibe. The room itself was clean and decluttered while maintaining the same vibe. We stayed in a 1 bedroom and appreciated the extra space with a full kitchen. High ceilings, lots of lights and gorgeous appointments from the throw blankets to the curtains.

This place was great! A beautiful apartment on a fantastic property. The pool and courtyard are so lovely and it was a reasonable walk to great restaurants and the french quarter. Mike was so responsive to every question and the recommendations for local restaurants and tours were fantastic! I will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay. Great location. Beautiful place. Hated the cardboard on our windows and the room smelled like mildew, guessing that might just be due to location but my allergies went awfully crazy. Hosts was wonderful helpful and friendly.

The Dew Drop is an excellent off the beaten path gem! It was just as described and more. Our first time to NOLA and Wednesday open mic night delivered! There was amazing local artists belting it out. What a treat to hear great music and then walk upstairs to our room with a very comfortable king bed and black out shades!

This stay was exactly what I needed to gain the full experience of the French Quarter in New Orleans. I really enjoyed the peaceful nature of the place, the location and the exceptional communication. I was able to achieve all of my goals while in town and look forward to my next visit. I highly recommend this stay.

Beautiful place to stay, and location was everything!! Perfect for a solo or couple getaway. The host recommended a nearby lot for us to park in that was an easy walk just down the street, you can reserve a spot online or pay with a QR code when you get there. I was unsure how parking would be since the area doesn't have a lot of free spots and I didn't want to worry about moving the car. We paid about $10 per 24 hours and it was well worth peace of mind to have the car be parked in a secure spot during our stay since we spent most of the weekend on foot. Booking this place was definitely the move- peaceful, private and accessible to everything we wanted to do. Would love to come back.

You cannot beat the location of the Blues Room in the back of the French Quarter, 1 block from Esplanade and The Marigny. Its quiet, safe, peaceful but with so many restaurants and things to look at. This is the ideal place to walk to and from. The Blues Room is part of a larger house with its open separate entrance door and bathroom. To enter the property you enter a gate to the courtyard in back and walk 3/4 of the way around the house to get to the Blues Room. The exit is out the other 1/4 end. Logical and easy. The combo locks work well. The room is exactly as it looks in the pictures - great artwork on the blue walls. Appealing to the eye. The bed was extremely comfortable. I slept better than usual. The room is not big - I bumped my shins on the bed frame a few times the first couple of days. The furnishings are old/antique which match the historic feeling of the room. The bathroom is a little tight, but about what you would expect. Hot water, clean.

Sehr sauberes und schönes Motel. Hatten dort 3 Zimmer und alles lief problemlos. Der Pool und der Preis waren auch sehr gut.
