Place was very nice

We were four families with children and found the place to be very nice and convenient to the city center.The house is a old British bungalow with nice views of the city. Mr Rohit took care of all our needs and provided a good hospitality. I would recommend this place for larger groups as you will have the entire place for yourselves , helps with privacy as the common areas are shared.

woww!!! what a mesmerizing view that was, when we woke up (even if we had missed the sunrise). we had booked the morning glory and had an awesome private fireplace. the garden view and front view both were mesmerizing. I had also gone through all the reviews so already confirmed with host before going there, about bad locks and bad water but I found exactly how he described that they have fixed the issues and I found that the new locks have been added there and water was also not red. the only thing is wifi doesn't work in the rooms, but in common area it works smoothly. the jio network also doesn't work, so be prepared for that before itself. you will be in the lap of nature totally without any outside disturbance. Even we were thinking to go to ooty only to spend more days at this property just to chill, we couldn't stay this time more than a day. Regrets :(

photos don't do justice to the beauty, peace and silence that we could feel while staying. food was amazing, all made with fresh vegetables and spices right from the farm. chef is doing a super job. native food experience. Sam and the whole staff makes you feel so special. nothing wrong can be said bad about this place. can have wifi coz sometimes you really need the internet. will help for people who want to do workation. one of the best experiencial stays you can do

Highly recommended! This place is a gem in Coonoor. And the owner is great guy! Right from getting to the property, the actual room, cleaninnes and the magical views from the property - all this were a delight for us. Additionally, the caretaker Mr. Guna is a helpful and responsive person for all your needs during your stay. The owner, Mr. Gerald, helped with some nice local suggestions and transport contacts. P.S. - Do try the fresh Dosas served in the morning breakfast, they're amazing!

The stay is even more beautiful than the pictures with a canopy of the most beautiful hanging flowers, plus it has a central location nearby to all the spots. Has a beautiful stream and park attached to the stay. Super clean and flavorful food. Had a great experience here.

Very calm and nice property, food was delicious and the caretaker was very sweet. latha was always there to help. great view of the valley and all amenities available .

We booked the one with living room and stayed for 5 days, the stay was very comfortable, swiggy delivers there, you got Netflix and a very clean bathroom, Zuhaina was so sweet to us recommending good places to eat and see. The WiFi works well, if you wish to work from there it’s a plus! Coming back to this place after the treks and sightseeing was heavenly.

If someone waiting for a perfect stay with peace, full of green lust and enjoy a great home food then definitely check in to this place without second option And the host is always responsive and friendly, they are having good cook who cooks home food as per our order I'll recommend this stay greatly

You get what you pay for, the place is exactly like whats shown in the photos. Caretaker were really friendly and helpfull about everything that you might need and finally cant forget the amazing view from the baclony

I think one cannot say much about this place. It has to be experienced. The house, the view, the people and the food. Anything I might say, might not compare to actually staying here and experiencing the love and care that Jose and Sindhu put into running the place. On the first day, we had the fluffiest dosa (we kept asking the recipe!) with really tasty sambar and Pongal. On the second day, we had really nice appam and stew (which took us right to Kerala!) along with ghee roasted bananas and mangoes. Do not forget to try their homemade jams and chai! I had thought I was not a chai person for here I am, carrying 2.5kg of the most marvellous tea back home. There are lots of trails around the house where one can experience really beautiful views and the culture of the place. It is one of the best spots from where one can experience Coonoor. Calm, peaceful and beautiful views. One of the mornings, we were greeted by a wild bison. Difficult to leave. Hope to be back soon.

Our stay at Stumpfields Honeysuckle was truly memorable! Nestled in beautiful natural surroundings, the place offers a peaceful retreat with lush greenery all around. The European-style architecture adds a charming touch, making the entire experience feel like a getaway in the countryside. The breakfast was fantastic—fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. We also loved the friendly dog on the property, who made our stay even more special. Hari, the manager, was extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. The rooms and common areas were spotless, which we really appreciated. That said, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. If you’re coming in a four-wheeler, the road leading up is quite rough. The staircase to the first floor felt a little risky, so caution is needed. Also, the water in the shower was a bit muddy at times. Very nice and cozy case. Beautiful surroundings. Right in the lap of nature. You will enjoy if you want to have time off and relax. Sashi was very helpful and just a call away in case you need anything. Just one suggestion: infrastructure of the rooms can be improved.

The stay was excellent. It’s a nice property for a group of friends or family. The host Jayanthi is nice person and honest. The caretaker and cook Chandran is very nice caretaking and prepares extremely good food. Speciality’s all south India dishes and others too. The Bunglow is well maintained it is in good location. You have scenic view of the tea garden estate right from your balcony front which is amazing. We would rate it excellent and advice the new guest to book with no ambiguity. Looking forward to repeat on same place again.

I felt right at home here. I stayed for two days, and it was like being part of one big happy family. The place was super cozy, exactly like in the photos—what you see is what you get. I even caught one of the best sunrises of my life. A friend ended up joining me for the trip, so I asked Maria if he could stay in my room. She kindly explained that it might ruffle a few feathers with the other guests, which really showed how thoughtful they are. Thankfully, Jose Uncle went the extra mile and helped find him another spot. The breakfast was a feast for the senses—not just delicious, but served with so much care by Sindhu Aunty, like a mother’s touch. One night, we sat around for candlelight stories with Jose Uncle, and he shared some tales that were the icing on the cake. Plus, I had the best company with two other couples, and we made memories to last a lifetime.

The moment I booked the room, I got a call from Najeeb sir and Ayisha Mam, to understand our tour plan and guided us accordingly. We went to Chembrapeak, Banasura Sagar dam but it is not as scenic as the view from this home. we especially enjoyed the retreat of the Moon behind the high-raised mountains.   Our entire family melted with the hospitality and affection of Ayisha mam and Najeeb sir.   Thank you so much Ayisha mam and Najeeb sir for making our trip memorable, I am certain we will not have such a trip unless we come here.
