Nicaragua: soggiorni in case sull'albero

I absolutely loved this treehouse! It was exactly what I needed. Angelica and Jorge are also wonderful people. They picked me up in San Jorge when I got off the ferry and Angelica would shuttle me to anywhere I needed to go the whole time I was there. Not only that, but they make some of the best cheese I've ever had and she would bring me a variety of cheeses throughout my stay. The sunsets are fantastic. The walk to the beach is short and there is an excellent restaurant right on the beach with great WiFi if you need to work. My colleagues were pretty jealous of my beachfront office. I already miss Casa Arbol and hope to come back. It's a real treasure.

Ramon’s place is very special. If you’re looking for luxury this is not the place, ( you can always pop next door for a dose of that), but if you want to stay somewhere that is more in tune with nature and incredibly beautiful to boot then this is definitely worth the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and left feeling relaxed. Ramon’s passion for the preservation of the jungle is admirable and of massive benefit to the whole island.

By far my favorite place on the island. If you can grab a spot here, do it. I came here with my daughter (8) and she loved it as much as she loved her new friends she made there (Lola and crew), so much so that she shed some tears when we had to leave. It’s super quiet, well made, creatively and sustainably designed and built, and just plain pretty. Including the puffy grass that covers the entire site like a fairy carpet. Loved the bucket showers too.

Ein ruhiges und einzigartiges Paradies! Wir haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt. Inmitten der Natur, mit wunderschönem privat Strand konnten wir uns super entspannen. Sowohl Ramon, als auch sein Personal war sehr höflich und hilfsbereit, sodass der Aufenthalt bei Ensueños zu einem krönenden Abschluss der Reise wurde. Einzig der Hinweg war etwas schwierig, da die Wegweiser etwas zu spät (bei der zweiten Abbiegung) angebracht waren und wir uns so verlaufen haben. Große Empfehlung ist das Essen! Es ist jeden Cent wert - frisch, gehaltvoll, abwechslungsreich.

Our adult family of four stayed in both the mango house and the jungle house. Both of these places are fabulous- beautiful jungle surroundings, areas to hang out and observe the beauty, all kinds of fruit to try, an on-site restaurant (try the jackfruit stew!), comfortable beds. The fact that this area has been mindfully reforested was what attracted us to this stay but the experience overall was amazing. We highly recommend!

L'endroit est très agréable, calme, et dans un coin paradisiaque de l'île. Soyez tout de même prêt à couper du bois pour cuisiner des aliments secs, car il n'y a pas de réfrigérateur accessible et vous devrez utilisez une grille à cuisson sur votre propre feu ! C'est en soit une expérience. Il est aussi possible de manger directement sur place des repas delicieux mais informer vous des prix auprès de l'hôte. En somme, cest un endroit magnifique où il fait bon rencontrer des gens de partout. Ramon a été tres sympathique et acceuillant. Penser à apporter lampe de poche pour vous rendre au salle de bain dans la jungle la nuit :) et un cadenas pour barrer votre habitation. Cette île est un petit paradis sur terre.

J’ai passé un magnifique séjour chez Paula. La maison est idéalement situé à 30 secondes à pied de la plage. Toutes les commodités : restaurants, bars, magasins de surf et petit marché sont à 10 minutes à pied. L’endroit est calme et entouré d’oiseaux aux couleurs saisissantes que l’on peut admiré depuis le hamac sur la terrasse. Un havre de paix. En ce qui concerne la maison elle est bien équipée, tout fonctionne bien. Paula est facile à joindre pour toutes questions elle répond très vite et toujours prête à aider. Ce logement a été l’un des meilleurs que j’ai expérimenté en voyage. J’y retournerais sans hésiter 😍

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, welche schön eingerichtet ist und einen schönen Ausblick hat. Die Anweisungen beim Betreten der Unterkunft sind klar formuliert und nachvollziehbar. Lara ist eine sehr herzliche, gespächige Gastgeberin und gibt einem direkt das Gefühl, Zuhause zu sein!

Great place located at the bottom of Quinn Hill. Walkable distance or short scooter ride to Pic Nic/Arenas beach. The house itself was very clean and it was nice to have a morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Very peaceful. Breakfast was included which was a nice surprise! Ryan was responsive and answered my many questions. I would definitely recommend this place.

Had a wonderful time in the jungle cabin. Beautiful and relaxing. Magical experience. Lovely walks. Wilma was away, but we met Harm. Charming and full of energy, clearly passionate about their farm and project. Great service from Idalia. Served tasty breakfast and evening meals, and sorted our laundry, all very reasonable. Farm dogs were a delight, too, and joined us on our walks. Would love to visit again!
