Adji’s Place The apartment is as advertised. Best part about the place: bug screens on the windows — no mosquitoes! (or flies!) Local general store near the building (support local business), with larger chain super markets a short drive away. Within walking distance to the ocean. There is a nice, reasonably priced Spa, 100m around the corner. I was there for diving, and the only Dive Shop in Dakar (only Dive Shop in Senegal, Nautilus Diving Centre) was a 15 min walk away. Some restaurants also within walking distance, although cooking in the kitchen is great too, as it has all the amenities. It is Senegal however, so there are the occasional power outages, water outages, and sometimes the elevator is on the fritz (7th floor, great view, lots of stairs, good exercise)

Logement très bien situé. Hôte très réactive. Logement très propre et conforme exactement aux photos. Spéciale dédicace à Boubacar le gardien qui a été d’une bienveillance et d’un grand respect du début et jusqu’à la fin de notre séjour. Il a été serviable et d’une grande aide pour les courses bagages et j’en passe! Merci je recommande !

Hôte qui répondait vite, bonnes services, Airbnb super beau comme sur les photos et proche des restaurants et autre. Je me suis sentie comme chez moi. Je le recommande vivement je reviendrais pour ma deuxième visite 👌🇸🇳

I really enjoyed my stay at Martone"s place. It is in a local neighborhood and I appreciated staying there opposed to a "tourist area".The apartment is literally right on the ocean and the view from the balcony is gorgeous. Her husband was my tour guide and wonderful at what he does. He stayed in the same building so the pairing of the apartment and his tour guide services I found super convenient. He was also my airport transportation. I would definitely stay at Martone's place again and would recommend it to others.

We stayed at Laurence’s place for 5 nights and it was the perfect place for us. Beautiful house and garden entrance, super comfortable bed, amazing terrace. Really, we could not have asked for more. Not too many mosquitos, the spacious apartment allows for great airflow and overall just a place where you feel home immediately. Lots of good places to eat and shop in walking distance. Communication was straight forward and Cherif was super friendly and useful in providing advise for onwards travels. If we ever come back to Dakar, we would stay here again without a doubt.

Celine's place was great, her family's home is very spacious and her team are extremely accommodating. The guardian tapha became my toddler son's best friend. The location was great, the mosquito nets in each room proved to be invaluable during this time of year. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was wonderful. Thank you again, Celine!

Notre séjour à Popenguine était une pépite. J ai adoré l emplacement. C est un village paisible et magnifique. Un véritable endroit où s arrêter si vous voulez découvrir et vivre la vraie vie au Sénégal. Voir les pêcheurs partir le matin et revenir, voir les moutons se faire laver, les enfants jouer au football sur la plage. La vraie vie quotidienne des sénégalais. L emplacement de la maison est exceptionnel. Je ne retrouverais jamais une vue pareil avec une telle proximité avec l océan. Merci 1000 fois au gardien Ablaye qui a toujours été là pour nous et qui pour moi est aujourd'hui un ami ainsi que le chauffeur Ablaye également car ils portent le même prénom qui est quelqu'un d exceptionnel. On en a tellement appris grâce à eux. Merci encore pour votre temps, votre gentillesse et votre partage. Tout était parfait dans la maison également, la propreté et les repas de Khaddi. Merci encore. J espère pouvoir revenir mais cette fois ci avec mes enfants. A bientôt Inchalah 😉

This was my third week at Daphnes, just kept extending our stay because it just has everything we needed and more. I liked the space, the house was cool and airy enough we didn’t use the aircon or fans. I’m quite a foodie and the kitchen is perfectly adequate to make delicious meals from local ingredients. The blender/ hob/ oven all fine. Plenty of cutlery and crockery , bakeware, serving platters and gadgets. Fridge/freezer nice and large. Coffee percolator- 🙏Thank you. Abundance of options for dining, breakfast on the covered patio, lunch & afternoon tea in the front garden. Dinner at the dining table either on the main floor or in the first floor lounge/ diner den( has sink)overlooking sea. I haven’t slept and relaxed so well in years. So many little extra touches that just made the stay so good. A real homely stay for peace and tranquility. Loved the hula hoop!!!! I’m sure I will return.

Très belle maison : trois chambres et chacune une salle de bain. La literie est confortable. La maison est propre. Il y a un jardin avec à l'arrière une très jolie piscine ! Ismaila, le gardien, vous accueille et vous aide dès qu'il y a le moindre problème. Parfois, le wifi peut s'arrêter mais heureusement Eve est réactive. La maison est accessible par les routes venant de Toubab Dialaw ou de Popenguine, il est préférable d'avoir sa voiture pour se déplacer facilement.

Séjour parfait dans ce cabanon. Le cadre, la gentillesse de Jean, le logement tout était au top. Je reviendrais sans hésiter. Merci

super petite maison au calme proche mer. piscine des hôtes accessible sur horaires. bons petits restos à proximité. coupez vous fait le ménage tous les jours pour que vous en profitiez. Alex et Anne sont des hôtes merveilleux, accueillants, réactifs, arrangeants, sympathiques. merci, nous reviendrons.

This place is exceptional- huge and beautiful home, pristine, gorgeous inside and out. The pool and terraces are really special, the sea view is beautiful. The hosts were so friendly, efficient and helpful, the guards always there and really helpful. The housekeepers did an excellent job and were really amiable. This is a great location to explore Dakar and its surroundings - out of the city centre but easy enough to get in, and the motorway is a 5 minute drive. Somone lagoon is a must-see. Thank you so much for a wonderful base for our holiday.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Organisation hat sehr gut geklappt. Die Küche war toll ausgestattet. Die Lage am Strand ist nicht zu toppen! Wir kommen wieder!

Bonjour Je recommande vivement la location de cet appartement qui est vraiment très bien situé , commerce à proximité, la résidence et sécurisé 24h/24h le logement est propre , bien équipé , idéal pour couple ou famille . Fabrice est une personne bien aimable et surtout très réceptif.

This is a very lovely flat by the beach in Yoff — it is shared by Carolina's sister and her partner, who are very friendly. A nice view of the waves is a plus. A great location to be close to the beach and take surfing classes/surf. Note that if you often need to go to Plateau or other areas in the city, you need to account for traffic and commuting times.

What a great experience I had staying here!! The place was absolutely stunning from the views to the layout of the place. The host Ibrahima was amazing super responsive!! Anything you need he’s your man from directions, advice on cool things to do in Dakar or food options. The beach is awesome about a 5 minute walk. 100% would recommend!!

Apparemment superbe bercé pour le bruit des vagues. Propres. Le système d'électricité est compliqué pour les personne ne possédant pas un numéro de téléphone sénégalais mais le gestionnaire s'en est occupé rapidement. Attention pour les européens, se trouve à côté d'une mosquée donc de l'appel de la prière mais ce n'est pas si gênant.
