Enjoy the peaceful beauty of Central Iowa's rolling hills, prairies, and distant forests while staying in our newly constructed barndominium. Take in the sweeping views, singing birds, and diverse wildlife from the front porch. Cozy up inside by the electric fireplace, enjoy a movie on Roku TV, curl up in the reading nook, utilize the portable desk or get competitive while playing board games. The barn is located behind our house. The driveway is shared with lots of parking next to the barn.

Perfect for couples, small families, Central College visitors or a cozy Pella getaway, the home blends historic charm with a peaceful retreat.

Nestled in the heart of Newton, this spacious 1840 sqft house offers the perfect blend of comfort and charm. Just 2 blocks from downtown Newton & less than 35 miles to Des Moines, Grinnell, Pella, & Knoxville, this home is great for long-term stays (by the hospital) for traveling nurses, or short stays for visiting family, a big event, or just need a place to stay you’ll find everything one home. Pets 80 pounds or under are more than welcome for a fee. No extra fees for guests up to 7.

Enjoy the cottage charm with two private bed and bath suites, a family room with dining, full kitchen, front and side porch, laundry and large back yard. Off-street parking in the back. Luxury sheets on queen beds await after your adventures.

The Henhouse Retreat- Hot tub, fire pit

The Henhouse Retreat is a beautifully restored 2 bedroom home converted from an original henhouse on our property. With breathtaking country views out every window you are sure to find this country retreat relaxing and enjoyable with many things to do close by like fishing, hiking, and a bike trail. Cute little towns to explore or cuddle up with a book & enjoy relaxation that comes with a deep breath in the country. Come as a family, some couples, or a little getaway, this home sleeps 7.

Bright, Comfortable Stay for Families & Groups

For guests staying an extended period, optional housekeeping services are available to help keep your space clean and comfortable throughout your stay. Our clean‑up crew is available on Thursdays, and the service is offered at $30 per hour. If you’d like to schedule a cleaning, just send a message and we’ll be happy to arrange it. If you prefer not to use the housekeeping service, no problem — your stay will simply include the standard cleaning fee.

Relax in a peaceful, conveniently located one-bedroom apartment in a quiet Grinnell neighborhood. This comfortable and secure space is ideal for traveling professionals, visiting family, or guests seeking a calm, walkable stay. The apartment features wood floors, a comfortable king-size bed, and a private entrance for added privacy. Located in a well-maintained triplex, enjoy high speed internet and full amenities including in-unit washer/dryer.

Sandstone Creek Barn

Make memories when you vacation by staying in a barn! Connect with rural life and nature at this comfortable escape. Ideal for families, couples, and singles with extra long twin beds in the bedroom and two lofts. Space to roam with 2+ miles of nature trails. Or relax with table and board games. The stairs into the lofts are steep. Someone with walking or climbing issues might have trouble. (The hosts are both 76 and have no trouble.)

Private Ranch Cabin Near Hwy 30

Escape to Wolfe Ranch and enjoy a peaceful stay in our private one-room cabin near Marshalltown and Highway 30. Tucked away on our working horse ranch, the cabin features a full kitchen, private bathroom, and private laundry with scenic countryside views. Perfect for couples or small families, with a trundle bed for additional guests. Horses and our Whiskers & Manes Cat Lounge are on-site, and ranch visits may be arranged with staff.

Downtown Loft Unit #2

Come experience small town living in the heart of downtown Grinnell. In 2017, I completed the historical renovation of this 100 year old gem that was vacant for a few years. You will notice the soaring ceilings and the gleaming hardwood floors once you step inside my loft. Situated next to the Strand Movie Theatre, you'll be within walking distance of Grinnell College, Grin-City Bakery, grocery stores and many restaurants.

We are less than 30 minutes from Des Moines, Altoona, Ames, Marshalltown, Ankeny, and Newton. On site washer/dryer, close to several grocery/convenience stores, drive way parking, fully equipped kitchen, and about a 1/4 of a mile from the Heart of Iowa Trail. Access to 24/7 community fitness center.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lakefront home. The 18 hole golf course and clubhouse are very well cared for. Hole 14 is across the street. Central location to lots of activities in Grinnell 6 miles, Newton 12 miles, and Pella 30 miles.
