Newly constructed cottage, no corners cut here. The exterior was done in a spruce wood siding, while the interior was done in a local spruce shiplap, white washed for a soft appearance. The cottage is clean, decorated with old and new so that it maintains that cozy feel. The fireplace adds a warm ambiance. You have access to hiking trails across the island, where you may come across Foxes, Caribou, Whales or Icebergs depending on the time of year. Don't forget to visit the Newfoundland ponies.

Leisurely walks around the harbour, swimming in our spring fed pond or exploring our towns walking trails, Nancy’s Nest offers the perfect getaway to put your feet up and exhale or put your runners on and explore! All while staying at our beautiful spacious two bedroom cottage with washer/dryer, kitchen and large living area. Ice House Meadows Cottage

Sip your morning cup of tea while taking in the magnificent view of Cape Broyle Harbour. Spend the day exploring the beautiful outports along the Southern Shore. As evening falls, sit around a bonfire on the beach or stargaze from our stage-head. Then cuddle up for a good night’s sleep accompanied by the sound of the ocean’s lullaby. Seasonally swim at local swimming holes or go ice skating on a nearby pond, close to East Coast Trails, and the Ferryland lighthouse plus many more attractions!
