The Country Retreat at the historic Schmitz Family Farm is close to many attractions, ideal for couples, families, girls' weekends, extended stays, business travel, and is dog friendly. Enjoy a sunrise or sunset, get cozy at the fireplace, or indulge in the many activities our area has to offer. We feature two beautiful bedrooms, living room with two sleeper sofas (can also be used as a third bedroom, as door closes for privacy), laundry room, full kitchen, coffee nook, quiet deck and backyard.

Beach House

This guesthouse is detached from the main house, comes with garage parking and has all the amenities you need including a wood-burning fire place! Towels, bath tissue, soaps & travel items. AC Window Unit. Kitchen includes pots/pans, dishes, mugs/glasses, coffee pot, toaster & microwave. Paper goods. New appliances/new water heater in 2020. Stairs to the apartment are on the northeast corner of the garage. The beach is steps away with a fire pit, boat house lounge, kayaks, beach toys & bicycles.

Near Lakefront and Downtown

Steps from picturesque downtown Port Washington and all the amenities available. Close to the action, but not too close. Restaurants, bars, shopping, the lakefront and marina, charter fishing, beaches, festivals, winery, brewery, beer garden, etc. are just a few of the things available to you in this quaint town which has been called the Cape Cod of the Midwest. Enjoy the entire lower level of this lovingly restored two-family home. Close driving distance to other historic areas like Cedarburg.

Bark Lake, Entire Home, Private Lake Frontage 50ft

A 1,700 sqft home with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, sofa bed and couch, large outdoor deck, hot tub, grill, 50 feet of lake access. Enjoy the morning sunrise from the East and relax by the waterfront and watch the sunset on the West. Bring the family and enjoy some lake life where the days linger on longer. During the Summer months we have a pier available to fish off of. There are two fire pits, one by the lake and another tucked away near the house. You will love it here, it is very calm and relaxing.

Big Red Barn with a basketball court

A beautifully transformed dairybarn turned into a rustic Lodge with all the accommodations. Enjoy a full kitchen and bar filled with a gas fireplace, dart board and pool table. Head upstairs to the basketball court and onto a wraparound deck that over looks acres of wetlands with wildlife A birdwatchers paradise. If you need to detox we have a wood-burning sauna with all the wood and kindling for you to enjoy. We are located 2miles outside historic Cedarburg Wi and 25 minutes north of Milwaukee.

1853 Farmhouse Apartment

Welcome to a two-bedroom apartment. The space includes a private bathroom, kitchen and living area. There is no kitchen/dining table. The apartment is on the second floor of the house and has an outside staircase leading up to it. The entrance/staircase is not shared by the hosts and there are no shared spaces in the home. The staircase may be steep for persons who have difficulty navigating stairs. Guests are welcome to use the patio area on the property.

Entire Use of Shalom House

Shalom House, a Frank Lloyd Wright style design, accommodates 1-12 guests with five bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, great room with fireplace, large kitchen, and labyrinth. NEW at Shalom House is WiFi, though the woods is a great place to connect with the world too. Wonderful drinking water and whole house water system. We have both!! *Shalom House is an experience-"a quiet place to be" *Enjoy the beauty of nature, friends, family, relaxation, celebration.

The Blue Cobb House

My place is close to 20 minutes south of Elkhart Lake and Road America. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the comfy bed, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The Blue Cobb House is about 15 minutes from Kohler-Andrae State Park and 30 minutes from Harrington Beach State Park. The Kettle Moraine area is just to our west and it is filled with hiking trails.
