"Salvaged in Ohio", this extraordinary cabin is located in the quaint village of Rushville, Ohio. Restaurants, shopping, and downtown events are in nearby Lancaster. Hike in the Hocking Hills, check out nearby historical sites, then relax and rejuvenate at the cabin. Rushville is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Featured in the 1991 Fine Home Building magazine, the Kennedy Cabin is built with 90% salvaged local materials. Note: This property is smoke free, no smoking.

Close to many activities, 25 minutes to New Albany, 15 minutes to Newark, 10 minutes to Dillon State park.

The property owns river frontage to the Walhonding River as well as the historical White Woman’s Rock- that Mary Harris made famous. Enough acreage and privacy to avoid human interaction and unplug from the world for a while- yet you are only 3 miles from Coshocton’s Roscoe Village, great winery’s in the area and a short drive to Amish country

Cabin on Shimmering Pond

This rustic 2-bedroom cabin is conveniently located on large private pond just outside the city limits of Mt. Vernon with shopping, dining, brewery and entertainment. We are pet friendly, dogs only ($50 per stay, max 2 dogs) with all the modern convenience, fully stocked kitchen, 50" flat screen smart TV, washer/dryer and fast internet. Outdoor fireplace/grill is the perfect hangout just steps from deck overlooking the large pond. 4-person paddle boat is there for use during your stay.

Rustic Cabin (on 22 acres with a creek)

Relax in the woods in this rustic & cozy Log Cabin situated on 22 acres with a creek. Guests have access to all 22 acres. Memory Foam King sized bed, and pull out sofa for extra guests. Deer and other wildlife are in abundance. Cabin is fully furnished with Stainless gas stove, Stainless refrigerator , shower, smart TV (we do not have cable, but you may connect to your cellular device ex Netflix/YouTube) Wi-Fi, microwave, coffee pot, firepit, and other necessities. 🪵 🔥 🦌 🍃

You'll love the coziness and privacy of the place. This place is good for couples, families, solo adventurers and business travelers. cozy cabin for 2, in a mostly quiet countryside away from town. we are not in the middle of nowhere. We are in the middle of an Amish community with country dirt/gravel roads, amish, buggies, hills and valleys, gorgeous sunsets across the ridge views, neighboring Amish Farm in the valley below. You may see horses or cows roaming the fields. So just relax in the hot tub or visit a nearby bakery, venture out or stay in to grill and chill.
