It has running water, a bathroom and a full kitchen, but the special part is the beautiful setting. The entrance of the property borders the Rio de La Casa, a small river running with clear mountain runoff. You may see sheep grazing the meadows, the quiet solitude in this beautiful valley will bring peace to your soul.

Kick back and relax in this stylish cabin in the forest. Hilltop location with forever views. Just off scenic Route 66 (Hwy 50), up a steep (but short) driveway, sits a 2-bedroom log cabin with plenty of birdsong and pine trees, a porch surrounded by views and furnished with a grill for outdoor dining. Five miles east is the village of Pecos with the Pecos River for fishing, hiking, and exploring. Sixteen miles north is the legendary city of Santa Fe packed with world-class art and culture

The bedroom features a dual-adjustable King-Size mattress, fitted with Giza Dreams sheets, and a comfortable sleeper sofa in the common area. "City" water, dishwasher, washer & dryer, 700 Sq. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful hideaway. Very private, you will have 2 acres to yourself, the owners are NOT on the property. Spend the evening star gazing on the balcony, or roasting marshmallows on the open fire pit. There is also Wi-Fi and two televisions for those who would rather relax indoors. We remodeled the cabin recently, so it is ready for your family’s adventures. During winter months, 4x4 or AWD vehicle may be necessary, due to snow.

It offers two covered decks; one over looks the tall ponderosa pines off of the main living area with seating and gas fire table, The second Covered deck offers a private Hot Tub, seating around the gas fire table and a Gas BBQ Grill – two level - 3 steps up to cabin entrance and main level, several steps to upper bedroom level - Wi-Fi in cabin - Roku - DVD/CD player-cabin side parking.

Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, possibly 5, two (2) double beds in the bedroom, and a daybed for an extra person (for an added fee of $20.) Wood stove, hot plate & electric appliances for cooking. Open deck on the Pecos River! with an outdoor fireplace. Community bathhouse with commodes and showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Some road noise can be heard, especially during peak travel times.
