New Haven County: soggiorni in alloggi con braciere

This was a nice place to stay for our trip to NYC. The metro is a short drive to Fairfield, black rock station, if you want a shorter train ride you can drive 30 minutes to Stamford Metro. The house is clean and spacious and it was perfect to come back from the city and relax. The outdoor area could use some sprucing up but we weren't looking to spend time around the fire or be outside. We were very pleased with the coziness and very much enjoyed staying here.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this Airbnb, I like it because it's not too far from stuff to do or places to eat. It's also really close to all of my friends houses which was nice. Usually pretty quiet, rarely had some cars go by that were loud but other than that, it was pretty quiet. If you plan on staying in Meriden for a week or two, I would recommend this Airbnb because it's good for its value. The host is also very helpful, any issue I had, I would just let her know and she would get it fixed ASAP. Very friendly and responded rather often, even if she was busy.

We stayed at Ryan's place while visiting family in the area over the holiday weekend. The place was comfortable and clean and the bonus of being able to bring our pups was the best part. The dog park down the road was amazing and the locals were very friendly. The location was great, very convenient to shops, grocery store, gas etc. Overall we had a great time. Thanks again, Ryan!

We could only stay one night on a long road trip, but decided the treat was in order. Having come from DC, the peaceful atmosphere was a welcome relief. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. The internet was fast and the kitchen was very well equipped. Clean! There were even real cut roses on the dining table. Birdsong greeted us in the morning. The beach is so close. The backyard looks like a lovely place to enjoy as well.

This was our second time staying at the Artist Retreat! It felt like we were going home! It is a beautiful spot and looking forward to returning in the fall!

We had a group of 8 adults and 7 kids (5 and under) and the space was great for a large group! There was plenty of room for the kids to run around downstairs and the large yard was fantastic. We were there in the winter so couldn’t take advantage of the pool but we did make a trip to the local beach (5 min drive) and use the fire pit. I definitely recommend Gregory’s place for both larger groups and families! We would love to return!

I've stayed her many times for business trips. Always convenient, comfortable and quiet. Meets my needs ideally.

Beautifully kept home! From check in to check out it felt so easy. Island Poke that the hostess mentioned is worth a try! Would definitely recommend this spot! AND this hostess! 10/10

The place matched the description perfectly and much more spacious than what one usually finds for a single bed/bath apartment. I enjoyed the stay and would return again. For me it was a perfect place to accommodate overflow thanksgiving guests over the holiday.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Boathouse. Having lived most of our lives in Milford, a place we truly love, the location in the historical district was perfect. The Boathouse was comfortable and well equipped. Curran was the perfect host, he was actually traveling himself but was in contact with us to make sure we were able to get into the apartment. He also contacted us during our stay to make sure everything was alright. We look forward to staying at the Boathouse again.

La maison de Peter et Rory est absolument charmante : confortable, bien équipée et joliment décorée. Le quartier et paisible et les voisins sont charmants. Christian’s place was a cozy, typical East Rock apartment. Great proximity to the shops and restaurants on State Street and in East Rock, and in a very walkable, scenic neighborhood. He provided good instructions for some of the quirks of the house and for things like parking passes. And he even put out some snacks in the kitchen too! 🙂

Great communication. Great space. very beautiful home and outdoors. perfect if you have kids. We used the playground and grill. Very flexible, easy to reach and very friendly.

I chose Marlene’s lovely spot primarily because it was in a location convenient for short trips to visit family and friends in Wallingford, Middlebury and Middletown while on my way south from New Hampshire. The peaceful, quiet surroundings along with a spotless, well-appointed accommodation made it very appealing: highly recommended.

Bob & Dawn have a nicely appointed apartment. Many helpful amenities - a nicely stocked kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a bath, and a very nice living room, where we had the chance to visit with family. I really appreciated the washer and dryer that was available. We stayed 6 nights, and the weather was unseasonably cold. So we needed to wash clothing more often than we expected. Also Dawn was kind enough to give my son a beanie hat, which helped a lot in the cool weather. I loved the little walking trail at Solomon Woods, just next to Bob & Dawn’s rental. We really appreciated the rental. It was so helpful to attend my daughter’s graduation at Sacred Heart University, and to visit family. My parents owned a home in Milford for 45 years. This was like a comfortable home base for all our activities. Thank you so much.

This was our second stay at this location. Our dogs love it here. My partner and I felt right at home. Would recommended this stay for anyone looking to recharge from a busy life. Thanks for a great stay Kara!

Place was amazing! Had a comfortable and peaceful stay. Is a beautiful home and close to everything that is needed. Loved how private it was and how clean everything was. Highly recommend.

Lovely and Rustic for sure. A bit of a hike 10-15 minutes up to it. Bed is comfy too.

We had a wonderful stay. The setting was serene and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cabin had everything we needed, was cozy, and we especially enjoyed spending time by the fireplace. It was the ideal spot to unwind over a long weekend. We would absolutely stay here again!

This place has a pure Zen vibe for lack of a better term. If you're looking to get away without going that far, this is the place for you. The staff is great, and honestly people are out there to be relaxed and happy. Great place.
